"Room was gross. Old and dirty. They did not have hot water. Tv remote did not work. Got this room due to the kitchen and they were limited on dishes, utensils, pans etc. sick did not work, bathtub flooded and we had dirty Luke warm water covering our feet and ankles upon showering. Tv remote did not work and we were replaced with I one that had missing buttons. I spoke to the front desk about our issues only to be told maintenance was only available part time and would have to enter our room...

"Terrible. No breakfast even though it was mentioned that breakfast is included in the booking. The bedsheets and towels were not properly clean. No paper napkins were available as well to use instead of using the dirty towels. There was no water bottle/coffee/tea were available as well in the room. Only provided a single soap for 2 people's stay. "

"Staff were friendly and the beds were comfortable, but it’s not a good experience. The hallways smell like pot, the AC unit was so loud that I could not hear the TV even when turned up all the way. The wall thermostat would not turn off the unit, so I had to unplug it to watch TV and sleep. The walls are extremely thin and we could hear the upstairs guests walking (jumping?) at an extremely loud volume. The toilet ran constantly and clearly needs its internals replaced. Breakfast was standard...

"I liked nearly everything about the Hu Hotel. The only thing that let it down was the water in my room. It was scalding hot, even from the cold tap, which made it impossible to have a shower. A wash in the sink once the water had cooled in the basin was my only option. I reported this on day one but, despite apparently sending an engineer to look, it didn’t change. The room itself was lovely (but avoid 605 unless you want a boiling hot shower), the staff were really personable and friendly and...

"The first room we were checked into reeked of sewage or a funky smell, like it was lingering, or it had been there for a while. Once we addressed this to the front desk staff, they allowed us to moved rooms and the issue was resolved. In the New room, there was paint, chipping off walls, inside the restroom. "
