"Incredible view"

"First of all, be aware that this hotel does not have air conditioning. Europe is experiencing unprecedented heat, so it is important to verify that AC is available. I indeed thought it was, only to be informed at arrival that "only some rooms are". The property itself is ok, amenities are few, reception closes at 6pm. Young, inexperienced staff. We stayed in the superior double" which was stifling and had no view. There are apparently some much better rooms in the hotel if one specifies...

"Location, location, location. That’s really the saving grace for this property but everything else feels like they’ve been coasting for the last twenty years. Staff was fine, nothing standout. One nice touch was that minibar was included each day. Room did have AC. Room was basic, TV was mounted 15’ from bed and was about 22” model, definitely need an upgrade. Bidet didn’t work, shower/tub was older narrow claustrophobic size. Most egregious issue was Wi-Fi didn’t work, it would drop...

"This is our second time at Bon Rivage and we enjoyed it. Its practial to stay there if you want to visit Vevey and Bouveret. Its great for families with nice spacious rooms. The location is very good with a beautiful scenery. We will definitely go back."

"I had booked 2 rooms for 2 nights, wheb checking in there were no towels in the room and the safe did not work. When asking to bring us towels, fix the safe, my requests were ignored and one of the receptionists seemed to be ironically smiling when I raised these issues. The next day our room wasn’t cleaned and the issues were still not addressed. The 1 gentleman visiting from the main office was a hospitality professional, kudos to him"

"Nice balconies"

"We drove and had a parking spot directly outside the front of the hotel. Upon arrival I asked if there was any upgrades to our original room which the hotel accommodated for a small fee. We was blessed with perfected weather and had an excellent view of the lake which made great memories"

"Overall this was a fine hotel that was clean and comfortable. It was in the high seventies while we were there and they do not have air conditioning. They did provide a very loud fan which was helpful but it was rather stifling being on the 4th floor. They do not have a shuttle and the hotel is up on a hill in old town, which is a beautiful but steep hike up from the train station and lake. Breakfast was nothing special, some dry pastries, yogurt and small variety of meats, cheese and fruits."

"I stayed at this hotel during the Montreux Jazz Festival so the price I paid was extremely high, though this is only to be expected. The room was very large, the bed was comfortable and the room was nicely arranged. On the negative side, this was no air conditioning, which I was expecting for the large sum I paid. "The hotel is full of heritage, dating back to the mid 19th century. Both the building and its interior are fascinating, with relaxing colors that create a peaceful and stress-free atmosphere. We stayed for just one night during our long motorcycle trip, so unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to enjoy all the additional services the hotel has to offer.
