Easy parking in beautiful surroundings. The grounds are very secenic. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was warm and fresh. We stayed in a family suite, was modern and well equipt. Bed were a tad uncomfortable though.

Excellent, convenient location to stay during the Wigtown book festival. Particular highlight being the friendly, informative staff. We were delighted to experience the delicious Scottish breakfast each morning, ingredients sourced from local farms.

Lower Nunton was perfect for us four adults and two dogs. The log fire made it very comfortable. There was everything in the cottage that we needed. The house was perfect for our family of 7, with four bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. All rooms were a good size with a large kitchen dinner. The bonus for us with two teenage grandchildren was the pool table and table tennis. Would go back anytime.
