"The park was super close by. The bungalows had the most amazing view I believe the best view in the whole area and not to mention the host was the most accommodating and friendly person I have ever had the pleasure of staying with. He provided delicious breakfast every morning as well as recommended fun activities to do in the area which overall made our stay more than amazing. "This is a very unique house in a very quiet and peaceful location. We only visited for 1 night so we did not get to enjoy it as much as we could have. Small miscommunication with our booking but as we went on an evening tour, things were straightened out and all was well by the time we returned. "The property is beautifully situated, comfortable and has everything one needs for a stay. The owners live on site and are very attentive and kind but not intrusive. It was well placed for exploring the Arenal area but be aware that the road from Nuevo Arenal is extremely pot holded and the 8 km takes 35 minutes to drive."

" he was a great value and everything was clean and nice. it was a big deal to us but I would probably post that there is no hot water and the front door locked is how we just close the door so I would probably let people know that there is a lockbox there Inc. provided in the code so they can get the extra key. Everything was great though and we appreciate the hospitality."

"We have stayed at this location twice (once with kids and once without. Both times the accommodations have been clean. The view is beautiful. Lots of bird watching. The grounds are kept tidy. Having a washing machine is a huge bonus just to reset. The shower was cooler this (second) time but I'm sure if we asked they could have turned up the water heater for us. But we only stayed one night this time so didn't bother asking. Great for both short and long stays. "

"The people running it were so nice and extremely helpful. We got set up with a guide to take us on a hike to a spectacular waterfall, and were told of other places of interest. The food was delivered hot to the house and was plentiful and good. It was odd that in the very well stocked kitchen, there was no silverware. We don’t know if there was no hot water or if we didn’t figure out how to use it. Some outside chairs would have been nice "
