I was nervous after reading the reviews about being near a Main Street but we hardly noticed it. I will definitely bring my kids back to stay at the bigger cottage next time!"

We visited the Empty Cross and had a great time watching the birds and taking in the natural beauty. The location is perfect—close enough to Fredericksburg for a day trip. The breakfast was delicious, and the coffee was perfectly brewed. We’ll definitely be coming back. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming."

"I loved the location. It was quiet and relaxing. The only thing that i didn't like was that there was only one TV and the wifi was the greatest. The kids and i loved our stay. "
