"Beyond being a lovely house, we were impressed by how much space we had available. We had four adults, each of whom had their own room and their own bed—usually oversized—with several beds to spare and more comfy common areas than we could fully take advantage of. Next time I’ll bring more friends!"

"We are not strangers to the area, my wife having grown up in the area, but each time we stay on the Chesapeake we feel at home. The Hideaway is so nice that you don't want to go back your actual home! It is furnished as if it is a year-round residence, no cheap or mismatched furniture and appliances. We enjoy cooking and the kitchen is has everything you need and it works. The yard and amenities are top notch. If you enjoy bird watching, sit in the back yard and take in the bird activity...

"Had an amazing week at Ophelia Point...amazing views of the river with everything we needed included at the house! Very spacious outside and we loved sitting by the fire every night under the stars looking out into the water! The house had everything we needed inside with a nice welcome basket when we arrived. Debbie, the co-host, was very easy to get in touch with prior to our trip and answe red all of our questions before our arrival...thank you so much!Our only suggestions...The deck could...

"This cottage was clean with many amenities provided. Quiet location right by the river, with views of wonderful sunrises and sunsets. There are several nice state parks close by to enjoy. There were family games available as well as kayaks at the property. Nancy was always very responsive. "

"Nice little house if you are looking for an escape from the day-to-day bustle. Ideal if you want to hang out and read. Basic accommodations in a rural neighborhood. Not much to do in town, accept visit the lighthouse. Bay access is not far on foot if you want to launch a canoe or kayak. Our only gripe was that AC is listed as an amenity but there were no AC units. Maybe they are available in the summer, but it was hot for half of our trip (mid April) and we could have used AC.
