A supplement of 35,00€ per week applies for each additional degree up to a maximum of 26ºC Pool heating can be provided and should be requested at least one week in advance. Should it be requested after arrival at the villa, the minimum charge applicable is one week, which is payable from the time the heating is turned on.

The pharmacy Varela can be found 2.6 km away. It is 4 Km to the resort town of Calheta, with its man-made golden sandy beach. Here you will, find a selection of cafés, restaurants, a larger branded supermarket, the marina (offering boat trips and dolphin watching), banks and a chemist. Funchal is an easy 40-minutes’ drive and the airport under one hour along the motorway.
Cleaning Cleaning and linen change is provided every 7 days. All linen and towels are provided, including towels for the swimming pool. For health reasons, linen for a baby cot is not provided and you should bring your own. Guests need to vacate the villa during a mid-stay clean and change of linen.
Booking Notes The rental value varies with the number of people occupying the property, so please ensure you enter the correct dates, number of adults, children and infants. Please note that supplements apply should additional people join you for any length of time. To secure your reservation we require a 30% deposit, or the full amount if you are arriving within 8 weeks. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to arrival. A security deposit of 500€ is required by credit card prior to check-in. Final details for check-in and driving instructions to the property will be sent 7 days prior to arrival and once you have paid your balance. A contact number will be provided, and to be able to access the property, you need to phone this number as you are leaving the airport. It is your responsibility to contact and advise the number provided on the check-in details to advise any delays to the expected check-in time. Check-in times - at the property - are between 16H00 and 19H00. For Sunday arrivals and out of hours check-in, alternative arrangements will be made, and an additional cost will apply. Check-in and check-out flexibility will be applied where possible, but this will depend on housekeeping schedules and the departure and arrival days of other guests either side of your stay; a definitive answer can only be provided within 24 hours of your arrival for check-in and of your departure for check-out. If you have a car and are driving to your villa or apartment, please follow these instructions. Using GPS will take you via old and less easy roads and unusual locations: Leaving the airport take the motorway (Via Rápida) West in the direction of Funchal and after this to Ribeira Brava. Travel for 34. Km.
When you reach the end of the motorway (approximately 35 minutes) keep on the right hand lane and follow the signs to Ribeira Brava – Ponta do Sol. The slip road will lead you to a roundabout. Take the first exit to Ribeira Brava and drive towards the sea for 1,4Km. You will reach another roundabout. Take the 1st exit into the tunnel and you will now carry on for 3,9Km until you reach the roundabout of Ponta do Sol. At the end of the tunnel you will reach another roundabout; take the 2nd exit , signposted Ponta do Sol and drive through another tunnel. At the end, carry on along the coastal road and you will enter another tunnel. At the end, carry on along the coastal road and you will enter another tunnel. At the end of this tunnel you will come to the roundabout of Ponta do Sol; on the left you will find a petrol station and mini market. Take the 2nd exit into the next tunnel and drive for 2,8Km. At the end of the tunnel, at the roundabout, turn sharp right into the next tunnel (signposted Calheta). At the roundabout (1,6Km), take the first turn-off, signposted to Calheta, drive through the next tunnel for 1,8Km. At the roundabout take the third exit signposted “Estrela” and “Rabaçal”. Keep climbing on this road for approximately 1,8 Km, until you reach the T-junction at the top. Here, turn right. You will need to take the second left, approximately 200 m away in to Caminho Lombo das Laranjeiras. You will pass the pharmacy, then, on a curve to the right, the medical centre a supermarket and restaurant on your left, and your turnoff is on the corner of the next curve to the left. As soon as you reach the crossroads, turn right, signposted Casa do Povo, and continue driving for 2.7km on the ER222 until you reach the MemorHia's on your right. When you're facing Oliva, it's on your left and Carmim is on your right.
