"Laura and Darrell are amazing hosts! Their cabin is beautiful. They have included so many special touches and amenities in their cabin that you will NEVER find anywhere else. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday and they had a neon birthday sign. A yummy birthday cake, a birthday card, bottle of wine and meat and cheese platter. "Jim and Laurie were wonderful and the amount of love and care they take to ensure your stay is perfect was evident. The rooms were spacious and serene, the whirpool tub was a plus for relaxing, and everything you could need is available. The breakfast was wonderful and the animals added to the entire experience. Elvis was a bit of a show off, Roodie loved chin rubs, and Humphrey was an absolute mush! Our only regret was we couldn't stay longer. We will definitely be back, hopefully soon!"

"We were in town for a wedding at Meeker’s Venue. This location is excellent. Less than 5minute drive to quaint downtown area. Meeker’s is less than 10 minutes. House is historic but beautifully restored. Very quiet location. Local ice cream stand within a couple blocks was nice treat. Does have steeper stairs to second level but this is common in older homes. Doug and Karin could not be nicer more hospitable hosts. If I could give 10 stars I would."

"My husband LOVES old and unusual buildings. He said this was the favorite one I've found for our travels. The schoolhouse was comfortable, beautiful, and full of interesting memorabilia. It does have a few steps inside, but was nicely equipped with motion nightlights, so wasn't a problem when I needed to get up during the night. Even though we had only a one-night stay, we loved it! "

"Great little spot to stay in Lexington! Very clean and perfect if you want a nice hotel style experience. Plus the Note is literally 10 ft away and nice for a light dinner and drinks on Fri and Sat. "

"This cottage is everything you see & SO MUCH MORE! The location cannot be better for weddings at Kingwood Center Gardens. The space is beautifully decorated, all the amenities you could need & the fenced in yard was perfect for our pups. Happiest dogs on earth to be running & playing safely outside. The communication is top notch & the wine hit the spot after a long day of setting up for our son's wedding. "

"The place was beautiful and very clean. Although we couldn't take advantage of it, the back yard was awesome. Large fenced in yard with a beautiful deck that included a grill and firepit. The bedrooms and beds were very comfortable and the free wine was a nice bonus. There were even various board games to play along with some puzzles. I highly recommend it. 10 out of 10!"
