"Overall, we were satisfied with our stay. After reading some of the previous reviews, our experience was actually better than expected. The room was not very large, but it was clean, tidy, and perfectly suitable if you are looking for a budget-friendly place to stay. "A very fun and interesting hotel to stay in - if you don't know the history of the building, definitely look it up! Staff was friendly, and room was very clean. It's also in a pretty great location, that made getting to things via walking, bus, or tram very easy. "The apartment was great, had enough space, with a kitchen that was functional, with all appliances and cutlery and dishes. Shower was very good. The check process was fine, impersonal but worked out well for a late check in. The only major complaint was the location in the neighbourhood was not great. There is a very small walking street to get their that was hard to find unless you used gps; at night this is a sketchy area, with lots of drugs and people to stay clear off, especially at one end...

"We had so much room for our family's stay. It was fantastic! Front desk reception was really helpful, and the breakfast service was wonderful. You don't have to go down for breakfast. They just bring it to the room. The only complaint is the noise at night due to the location close to the night club district. There were loud vehicles blaring music and loud partiers on the streets outside at night. Otherwise, a very comfortable and enjoyable stay."

"Great location and a responsive host. We ran into a couple of small issues during our stay, but the owner responded quickly and fixed them right away, which we appreciated. Communication was easy throughout.Just a note that parking isn’t on-site — we used a public lot about a 10-minute walk away that can be reserved online in advance and was reasonably priced. We were able to briefly stop near the apartment to unload bags before parking."

"I wish I’d have found this property sooner! We only stayed 1 night as we arrived back to Lisbon from Porto to fly home. It was incredibly spacious, welcoming and in a great location. Offering a full kitchen, 2 large bathrooms and a big open area for family to gather. The only suggestion would be a TV in the main room in addition to the TV’s in the bedrooms."

"The staff were always pleasant. They focus all of their attention on one group or on one customer at a time. Location was perfect. Remember to anyone interested in this place you get warm bread and pastries at your door knob in the morning. You have to make your own coffee and eggs, which was nice for me. The guys who work over night are amazing. We chatted when there were no customers. We watched one of the World Cup games which we really really wanted. We really felt welcomed."
