"We were looking for a large property to house family and friends for our son’s 22nd birthday.This spot definitely had the room and was reasonably priced for our group. I was especially thrilled because I grew up right down the street and was very familiar with this home and area of Eau Claire. This home was beautifully remodeled and had a space for everyone and something for everyone! The hosts don’t miss a beat with this amazing home!!! We are already looking ahead and planning on staying...

"Codax retreat was a fantastic home for our family of 14 people (ages 2-60). We did have to get creative with sleeping situations with kids as some of the sleeping areas are in the loft which is very open. We comfortably slept 8 adults in beds and 2 kids in the bunk beds. The other four kids slept on kid air mattresses (not provided). The 2.5 bathrooms were great to have. The open space was great and the garage - the kids LOVED. There were so many games/activities for all ages. We had plenty to...

"Very welcoming and comfortable cabin. High end finishes and spectacular views of lake from livingroom and main bedroom. A dresser or closet with hanging space would've been nice in both bedrooms. Neighbors nearby but very quiet area and short drive to Chippewa Falls. Would definitely recommend. "

"We had a marvelous 3 night stay at the lake. Grill and kitchen were great for cooking. The lake is quiet and calm- very relaxing. The screened room was so nice to beat the afternoon sun and mosquitoes in the evening. Things to know: The area around the dock is not good for swimming. The stairs are steep and narrow. "
