"This was booked last minute and we arrived shortly after booking. Our room was a bit tired and we suspected not a room that was used often as in need of a refresh. The staff on the desk were friendly and the bed was comfortable. "

"We stayed here for a wedding at Bourton Hall, the location is great and the outdoor/conservatory area is fantastic for drinks in the sun. The room was clean and comfortable, however the walls were pigging and in desperate need of repainting. Overall was a great stay though."

"Food was very good, reception very helpful, room very quirky. I had to book a family room as last one left - was the only room on the top floor built into the eaves. Two double bedrooms, very spacious and nice and quiet. Be aware that the rooms are in an apartment style building (bit like Butlins) across the car park. There is no lift - I was on the 2nd floor and struggled a bit with my suitcase as I have a bad hip (age!). I would also recommend to the hotel that they put some grab bars in...

"It was my 1st ever time staying at a Britannia hotel and I felt I didn't get value for money from what I'd paid to stay overnight because breakfast buffet wasn't included, which was disappointing. However, I felt I got a decent price for a very spacious double room with a nice view of Coventry city centre and I'd definitely consider staying at a Britannia hotel again if breakfast was included in the price instead of being quoted £24 to have breakfast added to the cost of staying overnight"

"Already the premises give out a reassuring feeling of care and comfort. This is then corroborated by the quiet and clean rooms, warm and cosy, along with a spacious breakfast area which presents a good variety of food, replicated for the dining area. All this topped with an ample parking space. Last, but certainly not least, the caring and welcoming staff just make it a must to want to go back."

"DO NOT STAY HERE. I had booked this property a week in advance and on the day i was told there was no room for me as they did not block out the bookings when they were fully booked. They claimed they had sent a message on the portal “hours in advance” However, prior to my arrival there was no message or attempt to contact myself to let me know that the property was already booked up. Thos is quite dangerous considering i am a young female travelling to a coty i do not know in the dark. I am yet...

"We like the Sparrow because of its location - near junction of A46 and M6 and it’s quite comfortable as well. We didn’t try the food on this occasion."
