Loved my stay, been 15 years since my last stay here and if anything it was better this time. Good one night spot if you need to visit Rugby"

"Lovely old building with lots of charm, has a beautiful courtyard to have a drink in. Room had lovely view of the courtyard. Really good breakfast in the morning with very friendly staff. Room nice and clean with beams in ceiling, with lots of character! Only downside is they don’t do food at lunch or dinner time, but found a lovely Italians round the corner (cheikhos) and really good value, as was the coaching house!"

"Room was clean and nicely presented. There is significant building work taking place so restaurant not open (which they did pre-warn me about,), and skeleton staff. However, the staff were super helpful and friendly. Everything closes at 8pm ( bar, front gates etc) so not a place to stay if you are looking to relax of an evening outside of your room. "

"A beautiful property located in a peaceful area with a complimentary breakfast. I stopped during the recent heatwave and was pleased I had packed my mini travel fan as my room had the sun in the afternoon, usually this would have been a treat, just not on this occasion. My room was on the ground floor and initially I thought, that’s no problem… except the windows face the garden and communal outside seating, so make sure you close the curtains to spare any blushes.. I also did not take into...
