"Enjoyed our stay. Comfortable unit. Walkable to many points of interest downtown. Just an FYI we were on the third floor and no elevator. Not a problem for us but could difficult for some. We would stay again."

"Everything was great. We used it as a base for my retirement celebration. Friends for the first 5 days; family for the 2nd 5 days. Would definitely go back to this same home. "

"This is a terrific place that is in a quiet neighborhood but still very close to downtown and Biltmore (maybe 10-15 minutes). There are walkable dining options (hosts provide extremely helpful info as part of the confirmation process on food and activities too). We walked our pup in the neighborhood and felt very comfortable. "We had a great stay at Keepers Cottage. The views are breathtaking and the cottage very comfy. Judy is very friendly and welcoming. We really needed a refreshing time away. While the lake isn't open yet we still enjoyed the back porch throughout most of our Saturday. We will definitely return."

"This is exactly as listed... chic, relaxing, and private. We needed a few days to recover from surgery and this was perfect. Next time, we hope to explore Asheville more. It is also close to anything you need for food- definitely a 5 star rental. "

"We had a wonderful stay. House was well stocked with kitchen essentials, extra towels, blankets, etc. It was a beautiful spot on the 12th hole. Would definitely book again if we venture back to Lake Lure. "

"Very cute property that had very nice views of farm land. On the way there you will pass river water with a few great views going up the mountain to the property. We were able to see horses in the distance from the porch that had a beautiful wind chime, as well as a nice playground. Hosts were very kind and accomodating. Recommend a vehicle that has the capability going up hills on loose rock heading toward or off property, and to have mudflaps to prevent car damage. We had a FWD 2015 Hyundai...

"I was in the Asheville area for two separate events and need a place for a couple nights in between. This place was perfect for me. Clean, neat and QUIET. I spent much of my time reading on the porch. Although I could see traffic on the other side of the bamboo forest, I could not hear it. The sound of the wind in the bamboo was so soothing.Bed was comfortable, linens adequate. Bathroom was clean with good water pressure in the shower. I used the washer and dryer and both worked well. ...

"This was our first time to Asheville. We were in town for a wedding. We were pleased at how close the cottage was to town and to all of the wedding events at the same time feeling like we were in a cabin in the mountains. We enjoyed sitting outside on the porch and admiring the view of the mountains. Our dogs enjoyed their walks around the property."

"This is my second stay at this property but won’t be my last! The host is so helpful and is very quick and responsive. The river on the property is so peaceful and the house is very well-kept! Already planning my next stay. Truly a hidden gem. "

"This place is absolutely lovely. They have taken such card in decorating it. There was even a pie upon arrival! We did encounter a few bumps (literally). The two twin beds were in a loft and with very low ceilings. This would be perfect for kids, but my friend and I smacked our heads sitting up in bed.
