"Amenities were great. Property was clean and quiet. Perfect for teens. Great view of the lake. Updated kitchen and grill was great for making family meals. Enjoyed making s'mores in the fire pit. Kayaks were so much fun. "

"We had a fantastic time at this property! The cottage was cozy and had everything we needed, even coffee. Vince gave us a tour and let us know everything we needed to know when we arrived. The kayaking was amazing. We got so close to bald eagles it was breathtaking, we were simply awed. We saw eagles, osprey, herons and so much wildlife. Vince and Sandy were absolutely wonderful hosts, so friendly, accessible and helpful. They even took us out on the boat one evening for a tour of the lake and...

"We had another great week here. Enough room for our family to enjoy time together and apart. The cabin is well stocked and clean. The owners are easy to communicate with. We look forward to returning next year!"

"This camp was perfect for what we were looking for! We loved having our coffee at sunrise and soaking up the sun throughout the day. While it’s close to other properties and there were plenty of kids outside and in the water out front, everyone was very respectful, and it never felt disruptive.The camp itself had everything we needed and felt modern and comfortable. One thing to note: small flies were a bit of a nuisance indoors—especially in the kitchen and bathroom. We recommend washing dishes...

"Wonderful place to relax and undwind. I enjoyed watching the eagles fishing over the pond. The picnic table and firepit by the water is a great way to spend a summer or fall evening. The sunsets are spectacular. One minus is it is not a good place to swim.(The listing does state that)"

"Very clean, owner nearby and responsive to all requests. This is not the Taj Mahal, but it serves it purpose. Will consider again next visit to Hartland."

"Amazing Lake house, our family loved our stay. The house is perfect has everything you need. The yard is private and the lake is so peaceful. Canoeing to the small island across from the house was so fun. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property."

"It was clean and comfortable. The lake is gorgeous. Fireworks over the lake on the 4th. The two kayaks provided were a special bonus and so much fun. An unexpected gem in rural Maine!"

"We were in town for a laid back bachelor party. Five of us stayed here very comfortably. This place has everything you need for a weekend stay and it was close enough to Bangor to come and go. I highly recommend this rental especially if you need 4-5 sleeping accommodations. "

"Beautiful house with comfortable furnishings, beautiful waterfront with plenty of areas for shade or sun, crystal clear water, and convenient location, quite close to interstate 95!"

"abundant nature, old rock walls and beautiful winding roads through the woods... A tidy RV with a good hot shower! The RV campsite is tucked nicely into a sunny patch deep in the woods. Bright stars and peacefully quiet at night and during the day too. All RV fixtures in good working order with easy instructions provided. "

"The home made for perfect stay for our family. The options for housing in this part of Maine are limited and this home was a very pleasant surprise. It made for perfect location for a family wedding in the area. We also discovered several hiking trails in the area and enjoyed the fall colors. Leanne (the owner) was very responsive and helpful."
