"Great hotel, lovely staff. Hotel is located 1.5miles from the pier which is quite far for a walk however this is the only downside. There is a nice beach near the hotel. Room was nice and service was excellent. Thank you!"

"We’ve stayed here numerous times, it’s our go to place to stay in Bournemouth. Value for money. The rooms are basic but clean and with free parking. It’s a leisurely 20 minute stroll to the main shopping centre/beach/gardens. We finally got to use the pool on this visit! Was lovely to check out but still use the pool before we actually left. Thank you! "

"Lovely place in the New Forest, easy to find but lives up to is name of "Retreat". Everything was really nice, bathroom was enormous with a large tub. Shower was blocked so avoided but didn't cause issues. When we did have an issue with the door it was sorted in person straightaway. Only marked down "comfort" because the mattress was too firm, but that's each to their own. "

"Only stayed for 1 night as stop over for attending an event near by but wouldn't hesitate to stay longer. Great location and an easy 10 minute walk into the village centre. The chocolate bars were a welcome addition to our room and the offer of fresh milk a bonus. Free bottled water also a nice extra especially given how warm the weekend has been. Decent bathroom with lovely products that you can also purchase. I didn't eat in the restaurant but that was for no reason other than wanting to...

"Heather was welcoming and friendly. Room was very comfortable and mine had a separate bathroom for sole use. Parking space on the drive. Property located on busy road. Tasty full English Breakfast. Local pub opposite serving food and drinks. Location great for New Forest access. "

"Absolutely loved this place. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and wanted. The position of High Corner is fantastic and that’s not really doing it justice! The staff, all of them, were polite, welcoming, helpful and a credit to the pub. The rooms we had were lovely although one was a little small due to being upstairs, however this did not detract from my stay as I had it all to myself! Food, especially breakfast was very good. "Fabulous stay - loved it! Breakfast hamper was absolutely wonderful, though we couldn’t eat it all. Plenty of parking. Key code entry gives more flexibility as to arrival times, which suited us as we were spending the day and having dinner with friends so didn’t arrive till late. Brilliant one night break, will return without a doubt, and have already recommended to friends."

"We stayed in the Treehouse Suite and it was Amazing. Secluded, fabulous accommodation, all the treehouses have hot tubs and transport to and from in a golf buggy style car ( chauffeur driven ). Everything about the hotel was faultless and there’s NOTHING we would have changed. 10/10"

"Lovely rooms, very clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Great place to stay with a dog as you can still have a very nice room can, dogs can eat in the main area with you, they even have blankets for them. Would definitely stay again."
