"A little out of the way, but within a few minutes of our arrival we understood that it would all be worth it. Our family ranged in ages between 4rs to 77 years and all thought it had been a wonderful choice. "

"Cabin was excellent. Very clean. Kitchenette has everything you need. Fantastic view of Norfork Lake. If you reserve Lake View Cabin you may get any one of 3, although one is named Lake View. Lake View cabins are 30 feet from busy Hwy 177. Traffic is non-stop. Very noisy. Grill good but very pricey. Be sure to reserve a table. If you eat on the patio request a fly fan."

"Great location on the river and excellent hosts. Very quiet but located conveniently so that you can still get to nearby towns for any necessities. Would highly recommend this rental. "

"Good on grounds trout fishing on the river and close location to the lake for small and large mouth bass. Very clean and had everything we needed for an entertaining and relaxing Memorial Day weekend."

"The Blue Moose was absolutely fantastic. It was just as advertised. Very clean and a perfect location for exploring Bryson City, Cherokee, and the Smokey mountains. There is nothing I would change, and would rent this property again in the future. "

"The setting of this house is beautiful as it is right on the White River. The house is big and spacious with several decks and a dock on the river. We only had small problems. We could not make phone calls, but could receive texts. Unfortunately, it rained the three days we were there, so we didn't get to canoe the Buffalo River. Also, several roads were closed around us due to flooding. "

"My wife and I had a wonderful time being off grid, I highly recommend this for anyone that wants to unwind. "

"My husband and I stayed for our 10 year wedding anniversary. We wanted a relaxing get away and thats exactly what we got. The hot tub was definitely the best part. There was some problems with the water before our trip but Melissa reached out and gave us multiple options. Super sweet! Luckly the pipes unfroze and everything was okay. Definitely will be staying again!!!! "

"This was an anual trip for me to fish the caddis hatch on the white river, first time staying in this wonderful home. Beautiful house with basement, main floor and second floor could easily accommodate a group of 8-12. The house presents clean and well kept as soon as you walk in. Overlooking the river, the lower patio walks out to a well kept yard with large fire pit. The decks above offer great views. This is perfect if you are fishing, walk out the door and down the boat ramp to meet...

"The house was a little quirky, but we enjoyed seeing how the MCM house had been built on to over time. A lovely little neighborhood of vacation homes and we were the only ones around. The lake view from the amazing front porch was fantastic! We’d love to stay there again. "
