"The main room with the bed was well appointed with lots of lovely little touches. Pod machine, chrome cast on tv, king bed, beautifully decorated. The outdoor sitting area was lovely and relaxing and the toilet and bathroom modern. William our host was helpful and a pleasure to deal with. "

"Five friends stayed and we loved the location and easy access to Tanunda and Barossa generally. The house had much more to offer than what we had time to use. The standard was luxury with space to have separation. Clean, well stocked breakfast food. Shower water pressure was a bit variable and a couple of shower heads could be improved. Not a biggie!"

"The front porch area was clean and approach to the house showed promising signs. Upon entering into the house, there was a fair amount dust present where ever you would look. Almost all the dishes and cutlery with in the draws had dirt or signs of not being cleaned properly. "Lemke Cottage was a wonderfully picturesque historical sanctuary. It was was comfortable and beautifully decorated with period pieces and thoughtful touches. We loved it."

From the outside, it looks like a mid century family home, but inside has been meticulously renovated and the hosts have thought of everything to make a very comfortable stay.
