"We just pulled back in our driveway after an amazing 2 days at this little slice of just absolute bliss. Cabins were new, the bed was comfy and nothing beats walking barefoot through the stream or sitting around the fire pit. Gorgeous views when the sun burns through the fog in the mornings too. We're definitely coming back! We were there with two other couples and you wouldn't even have known. The pollinator garden was a nice touch too. hank you! "

"We loved Love Ridge Mountain Lodge, we stayed at the Kennedy Ridge! It was clean and well kept! Communication was great with the owners and everything is available in the home! Very peaceful and relaxing! We even met Chester! The property cat, she is loving and hung out with us for a bit! Awesome experience, if you are visiting or from Virginia we recommend the lodge! "

"Very clean and well appointed with a LOT of extras that made our stay easy and enjoyable. Close to excellent hiking trails. It was a big plus that pets were welcomed as we brought our 2 beagles who had a great time too!"

"Such a lovely stay!I had the best time at the Whimsical Creekside Cabin. The place is super cozy and peaceful—just what I needed to unwind. The sound of the creek, the comfy setup, and all the little thoughtful touches made it feel really special. It was clean, charming, and felt like a little hidden gem in nature."

"1 night stay during road trip. House was great, everything you need. Yard a little small for our dog, but we were able to walk her around the neighborhood. Since we were only stopping thru, didn't see much of the area, but the mountain views walking around were stunning. We were there during a heat wave, but house was cool and comfortable. Appliances are top notch, kitchen very well stocked. TV viewing choices were best in any VRBO we've stayed in...every channel/premium channel you could ask...

"Beautiful home full of charm and character. Easy, check-in. Comfortable temperature inside, despite the heat outside. SUPER comfortable bed (neither fluffy nor firm). The towels smell wonderful (just fresh, not perfumy) :)Quiet, lovely, neighborhood; just 1 block from downtown shops and restaurants etc- easily walkable. If you’re a coffee person, you may love that there’s a French press (in addition to the keurig and drip coffee maker). "

"This was our fourth trip to the river house. This time we went to celebrate my granddaughter who turned 13 and my daughter who turned 30. It was a wonderful week full of fun, adventure, hiking, swimming/playing in the river, s’mores, food and games. This is the absolute best place in the world for quality family time. This place really feels like home. 🥰"

"My husband and I rented this beautiful serene house as a quite get away for our 53rd anniversary. It was all anyone could ask for and more. We were even surprised to find a dozen red roses and a card from the owner wishing us a happy anniversary. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and enjoying the beauty of the surrounding trees and wildlife. There was even a resident deer that bedded down under the front porch everyday. "This was an excellent place for on overnight stay near Staunton. The cottage was neat and efficiently laid out, and the free ranging chickens were a delight. Far enough away from downtown Staunton that you felt like you were in the country but close enough to get to the theater in less than ten minutes."

"This was a very unique property in the woods. It was very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the hot tub and sauna immensely. We ate at Gerties, we t horseback riding, and went hiking. We loved it and will definitely be back. "

"My family and I took a trip up from Florida while I had some work in the area, and we were hoping for a relaxing place to stay that was still close to everything and this was absolutely perfect! The views were beautiful, the open space was great for the kids to run and play and we were just minutes from hiking, swimming, great food and downtown.
