Holiday house with big garden, Resa Valley, Locarno

The holiday house « Il Picchio » is located in the beautiful Resa Valley (Brione s/Minusio), near Viona village (700 metres above sea level), in a very quiet mountain landscape.
Ideal location for walks in the mountains (Monti di Lego, Cardada), also for daily excursions to nearby valleys (Valle Verzasca, Valle Maggia), or to the town of Locarno (16 min. drive). The house is situated 5 min. walk from public free parking.
One floor apartment (46m2) for 4 non-smokers, living room with fireplace, open kitchen, 2 small sleeping rooms, bathroom with shower and double washbasins. Balcony and big garden.
Kitchen: fully equipped kitchen, ceramic cooktop, fridge, microwave oven, espresso machine, toaster, kettle, raclette-set, fondue-set.
Rooms: one room with French size bed (160x200), one room with 2 single beds (80x190). All beds have pocket spring mattress. Household linen provided.
WiFi, DVD player and FM Radio.
Hot water boiler, wasching machine, wood heating through fireplace or wood cook stove, balcony with garden-table and wicker armchairs, big garden (500m2), sun beds, parasol and BBQ.
Arrival and departure on Saturday.
IMPORTANT: the house is located in the moutain. In June and September, lighting the fire might be necessary. There is no central heating.

COMPULSORY: bath, kitchen and bed linen cleaning and final cleaning CHF 120, to pay cash on departure.

ACCESS: to enter the apartment you have to do a SELF CHECK-IN. We will not be there at your arrival, but you will receive an e-mail with the INSTRUCTIONS, with photographs for the entry of the house and for the parking; you can call us if you need help.
