"We were only here for one night (next time it will be longer!). It was just two of us so we had Cabin 5 which was perfect for us. Great location, very nice staff, and a wonderful property. "

"We were five older adults (2 couples and a single),and were able to put each household on their own floor with their own bathroom and a king bed, which was great. The kitchen is very nicely stocked with pans, knives, dishes, etc, which made it much easier to have family dinners together. The deck is really terrific. Our only caution is that there is a house being constructed next door. The foundation is pretty close to done, but we got one morning of the constant beep beep of earth-moving...

"My husband and I stayed at Phil and Jenn's place for a long weekend. The house is spacious and comfortable. The various porches, including the one screened-in porch, were perfect for viewing the deer that would come down the hill. Moreover, the location is just 1,000 steps from a beautiful beach, which I am adding a photo of since it was so perfect. My husband and I enjoyed our stay so much that we even added a day to our stay."

"We came to visit and check out one of our adult children’s new town, recently moved to manistee. We had a lot of fun. We were surprised at how well the we all fit in the house with room enough - 6 adults and kids. The two upstairs bedrooms are connected, need to walk through one to get to the other- perfect for mom/dad and kids; we slept in the tiny room downstairs- fits a bed and that’s about it- but we didn’t find it uncomfortable- was okay! "Was not there for lake activities, ORV activities. House is just a short drive to the trails and everyone seems very welcoming to the ORV people. Pros, gracious owners who open their property up to guests and pets. I made sure mine were on there best behavior and I picked up all there poop. House was cool, log cabin, bear doors, unique door locks with wood sliding bolts.Cons. No WiFi, I missed in listing. I stayed across the lake last fall and they had great WiFi.
