Parking Information:
For a smooth and stress-free stay, please follow all posted signs and parking regulations in Breckenridge, as enforcement is strict. If you need additional parking, the Town of Breckenridge offers paid overnight options in two convenient locations: 1) south of town at the Stephen C. West Ice Arena, and 2) north of town at the Airport Road satellite lot, which also accommodates RVs and trailers.

Colorado Traction Law:
From September through May 31, the Colorado Traction Law is in effect for all drivers traveling on I-70 between Morrison and Dotsero as well as US-285 to Breckenridge . This law mandates that vehicles must be equipped with either four-wheel or all-wheel drive and snow-rated or mud + snow tires. Alternatively, vehicles with two-wheel drive must have winter tires, chains, or other traction devices. Ensuring your vehicle is properly equipped is essential for safe winter driving in Colorado. If you’re renting a car, be sure to confirm with your rental company that your vehicle meets these requirements.

Please be aware that during the winter months, roads and driveways are likely to be snow-covered or icy, making four-wheel drive (4WD) or all-wheel drive (AWD) essential for safe travel. We are unable to offer refunds for vehicles that get stuck or require towing, and unfortunately, we cannot assist with towing or vehicle recovery. Additionally, some properties may require 4WD or AWD even during non-winter months due to uneven terrain and dirt roads. Property was very clean and as listed. Very dog friendly! Great kitchen for cooking. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was the sound bar didn’t work in the theater room and that was a big reason why we selected this property over others. Management eventually closed the loop with communication but the issue couldn’t be resolved. Didn’t ski, because it’s fall but the survey required a skiing answer. Seems convenient for ski access in the winter though.

The house was beautiful, updated, clean, and stocked with everything you could need. We loved our stay there and would highly recommend. A close walk or drive to everything we needed. We were in from Michigan and definitely felt like we got the full Colorado experience! Wish we could have stayed longer!

Great home in a great location. The home is beautiful and comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped and has high end appliances, the bedrooms are very clean and comfortable, and even have the extra thoughtfulness of having a rug next to every bed so you don’t have to hit the cold floor with bare feet. The primary bedroom is plenty big enough for 2 dog beds on the floor with room left to walk around. The porch is great for grilling, watching the stars with the fire pit going, or just sitting around enjoying the mountain summer. The theatre room is great for movie watching, and very easy to use. We did have a challenge getting in. The batteries were going out on the electric keypad. It didn’t want to turn on, and when it did it would power back off immediately. There is a 24-hour emergency phone line, but it’s posted inside the house and not provided with the check in details, so if you arrive outside of business hours and can’t get in, you’re out of luck and won’t get a response through the app of the phone number contact you’ve got. After an hour of trying, we were finally able to get in, and to the host’s credit, they sent someone to repair it early the next morning, on a holiday even. It’s worth noting to travelers with a pet that there’s no access to the back yard from inside the house, so if your pet doesn’t like the doggy door, like mine didn’t, there no option for just letting them out, you will need to leash walk them each time.

Perfect location! Great house!

My husband and I rented this house with another couple and we LOVED IT! The theater was fun to watch movies in and the patio was a great place to relax and the view was amazing. The kitchen was well appointed and we loved cooking in it. A mama moose and her two calves visited the alley every evening of our stay. We will definitely be back!

Great comfortable house

We did a 10 day family ski trip and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood is super convenient- quick walk to town and multiple shuttle stops that can take you to main gondola The house itself is very nice- wonderful kitchen and comfortable living space. We had 6-7 people at any given time and plenty of room. Nice decor.

Winter getaway

Great location, great property. Will stay again. Only complaint is that to be so “dog” friendly, it was disappointing that the back fenced area was not usable. Gate could not be opened due to season long build up of ice and snow. Nor was the dog door useable.
