"I recently stayed at Staybridge Suites St. Petersburg Downtown and had a disappointing experience. Check in was at 4 pm, but when we arrived at 4:10, one of our two rooms was still not ready. No one informed us when it became available, we had to follow up ourselves. The staff overall were rude and unhelpful. One room faced the highway, making it very noisy at night, and the smoke alarm kept beeping. Calls to the front desk went unanswered. The next day, we were told room service required 24...

"Second night of my stay I had a knock on my door at 4am stating that I texted this person to come over. My daughter and I had NO knowledge of who this person was. I called the front desk several times and did not get and answer. I called IGH that night and several times while I was in Tampa and all that’s happening is I’m getting the run around. I was told I would get a call from the hotel manager and an email from holiday inn explaining what happened and I yet to receive anything from anyone....

"This property is perfectly located near absolutely everything you want to see and do! There are so many restaurants and cafes nearby and everything is within walking distance. The museums are wonderful! The shops have everything you need. The pier with its beach and restaurants along with so many activities is a great place to wander for the day."

"My husband and I loved staying at SkyBeach. It has the perfect little beach. It was never crowded. They have beach side service for food and drinks as well as providing complimentary kayaks and paddle boards. Unfortunately the main restaurant was closed during our stay (Monday and Tuesday) but the Skybar and coffee shop were enjoyable with solid food and drinks.
