"We really enjoyed our stay in this cabin! The cabin was extremely clean, had everything we needed (towels, bedding, basic kitchen supplies), and the ac unit kept up even in the heat wave we were experiencing (plus there are several fans you can move where desired). "Wonderful cabin. Well kept/clean, everything we needed for a 3 night stay. Secluded, perfect place to stay with our very vocal miniature schnauzer. There was nobody around for him to annoy with his barks of excitement! Saw lots of deer including a mama and her twins and one turkey. Enjoyed popcorn and listening to the records. Extremely comfortable bed. Porch was perfect for playing games in the rain and having morning coffee and grilling out. My only complaint was i was expecting a bottle of...

"We chose to celebrate Christmas at The Red House and it was a perfect place to do that! Very homey!"

"This was hands down our family's favorite stay of our trip (5 or 6 different places). Plenty of sleeping space for the 6 (2 adults, 2 teens, 2 kids). Kitchen was nice, though we didn't use it for much. Air conditioning worked great and main bed was nice. Couch beds were nice enough for the kids to not complain. Location was great for visiting nauvoo and being closer to groceries and such in Keokuk. Really nice stay overall!"

"Private and very clean location. King bed was SOOO comfortable to relax and sleep in. Roomy bathroom. Just like staying in a fancy hotel. If was staying longer would have preferred more than a mini fridge. Since no kitchen we made due with doing dishes in shower & sink with a small wash tub. Possibly a small utility sink in laundry storage room would be beneficial. Brought an electric griddle to make our food a few times. "My sister and I attended the British and Nauvoo pageants in Nauvoo, IL this week. Hamilton is about 20 min from Nauvoo. We were out and about quite a bit, but we found this lodging very comfortable. The host was very responsive!"

"Thank you for a very nice stay. The house was very nice, the whole house was clean, especially the bathrooms. The air conditioning was very good, especially for those who are not used to humidity. It was easy to adjust. The neighborhood was quiet, and within walking distance of downtown, restaurants and the grocery store. Very convenient."
