About this space
Golf course views of the 4th green of the award-winning Rams Hill Golf Course from this beautifully remodeled 2 bed/2bath home. Features quartz counters, custom tile, new kitchen and baths, cabinets, high-end stainless steel appliances and wood tile plank flooring throughout. Enjoy hiking, biking, stargazing and all the Anza Borrego has to offer in the designated dark sky community of Borrego Springs.

As much as I truly love pets, I’m severely allergic, so I cannot allow pets
The space
The house is truly special because it is tasteful and modern yet incorporates the natural vibe of Borrego Springs. The appliances and TVs are Samsung throughout. The views are perfect right on the green of Rams Hill’s 4th hole, and of course Borrego is a dark town so you can see all the stars so bright it’s amazing
Guest access
Guests can access the 2 car garage and there is a pool house with multiple olympic size pools and jacuzzis. There are 2 security gates keeping you safe, once you’re in you have access to Rams Hill country Club which is really nice. Great food!
Other things to note
Please understand Borrego is a dark skies community so exterior lights are supposed to be off at 10pm so everyone can view the bright stars. Interior lights are fine

Our stay in Borrego Springs, at Ram’s Hill was all we could ask for. The accommodations were excellent and the surroundings were outstanding. Communication with the home owner was excellent, from first making the reservation to actual arrival and throughout our stay.The home is clean and up to date with furnishings and decor. The furnishings in the living room, a sofa and easy chair, were very relaxing as there were 3 recliners to choose from for relaxing or watching the large over fireplace television. The primary bedroom, with a very comfortable king bed, was easy to fall asleep in. The bedroom had plenty of storage space in two dressers and had a large walk-in closet in the en-suite bathroom. There is a television in this room also, but you must bring your own equipment (Fire stick, etc) to be able to watch any programs. In addition to the primary bedroom, there is a second spacious bedroom with two beds, a queen and a full, enabling a large number of guests to sleep comfortably.In addition to a fully equipped kitchen, the home also has a full size washer and dryer at your disposal.Outside, there are two patio areas, one overlooking the on site Ram’s Hill Golf Course, 4th hole and green, and another patio, sheltered on the side of the house. There is also a large garage available for use, although the overhead door opener was broken, so we were unable to use the garage.The home is easily usable with a wheelchair or mobility walker. Most of the doorways are wide enough

Great location quiet, private, very well appointed kitchen with cookware and 2 coffee machines (Kcup & drip) & clean outdoor BBQ. Liked the ability to park in a garage to keep car out of sun exposure . We really enjoyed the 2 pools just a few minutes from this house. One is a heated lap pool the other is a very large (resort dimensions) pool . The pool area has many lounge chairs and a shaded area to avoid sun exposure. Rex was quick to reply to any questions, Great Host!!

We had a geat stay at this property. Home has been mostly updated, is uncluttered, and has very comfortable beds and living room furniture. Host is very easy to reach and responsive if you have questions. Location is great ... lovely grounds, golf, swimming pools, and hottub. Also nice clubhouse restaurant and bar with view patio. Already booked for next year!

Rex is a delightful guy. We really enjoyed the quiet and had a thoroughly relaxing three days. Anza-Borrego is our go-to for a winter getaway and this is the best place we’ve stayed there. The rental was clean, spacious and very nicely appointed. No complaints whatever.

Everything about this visit exceeded our expectations. It starts and ends with service - Rex truly showed he cared about our experience in every way - from check-in to check-out. The property is located in a beautiful, quiet area of Rams Hill. The house itself is terrific. Well-appointed, clean, comfortable, safe, and has many amenities you wouldn't expect, but we sure enjoyed them. Having full access to the community golf course restaurant was a big bonus as well—excellent service, top-notch meals, and a beautiful location. While we didn't use the pool, we did check it out. It's a first-class setup. The nearby hiking was so fun and enjoyable (we did "The Slot" one day). Both nights we experienced "the dark sky" star watching - it is jaw-dropping. We highly recommend!

Had a great time in this beautifully decorated home. Very comfortable furniture, the kitchen is fully stocked with all you need (coffee makers, utensils, cooking pots & Pans, etc.), and the location is terrific: Wonderful view of the golf course and surrounding mountains. Makes morning coffee or evening glass of wine a treat!Host is courteous, responsive, and makes the check-in/check-out process easy. Looking forward to my next stay. Thanks!

Furnishings need updating

Nice condo. Good location and mostly clean. Could use cobwebs removed from ceiling corners. Living room couch and chair are broken and worn. We moved a chair from master bedroom for our use. Very mis-matched desk and desk chair in living room. A floor lamp would be nice. TV mounted above the fireplace mantel is uncomfortable to watch. Overall the place needs updating. Bar stools too high for height of bar. And, screws coming out of them. Kitchen nicely outfitted. Grill cover needs to be replaced.

Nice stay at Ram’s Hill home

We enjoyed our stay at Rex’s home. It was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen has all new appliances and is nicely redone. The master bath has also been remodeled with an awesome shower. The bed in the master bedroom is very comfy. It felt like my own which has a very nice tempur-pedic mattress. It’s quiet there. We swam in the warm pool and enjoyed the hot tub. We look forward to staying there again.

power outage

there was a 2-3 day power outage in the entire area our stay was challenging. no one's fault. :) the property was just what we thought and the owners were helpful in helping us get the codes that weren't noted in advance. very thankful and not having electricity was more like camping.

Unsanitary Conditions/Misleading photos

It was advertised as a Modern, Luxurious Home... This is what we found: Four of us spent 2 hours cleaning upon our arrival. Human tooth with blood found on hearth, all floors dirty (hairs, straight pins glass, crumbs), rugs were not vacuumed, Hair and stains on all sheets (we washed all bedding), three large smelly trash bags and empty boxes in garage (we had to move them to be able to park). Photos on VRBO of the 2nd bedroom were misleading. There is barely room for the two beds and there was no couch. There were other minor problems: coffee pot did not work, could not convert shower to tub for bath and more. We started communicating these problems with the contact person immediately, after several emails we received a call from the owner who was non-commital. As yet we have not received an apology or response to our experience. The view was beautiful.

Clean and well maintained property with all the amenities.

The property worked perfect for our stay. It was close to our venue, easy directions, and commutation from property owner. Very clean and well maintained. Enjoyed breakfast on back patio while watching golfers play. Beautiful scenery and safe location inside gated community. Overall great stay!
