Boutique B&B in the heart of town

Sadie is centrally located, a short walk to the main street, pubs, cafes etc. Established in 1914, she is oozing with character & charm!
Comfortable, spacious rooms, sleeping up to 8 people. Lovely bathroom, newly renovated.
Wood fire in lounge. Free Wifi and Netflix.
Continental breakfast provisions & a coffee machine.
Guests can enjoy relaxing in the underground cellar, or soaking up the sun in the beautiful private garden.
Pets and children welcome!
The location of Sadie House is perfect for those who like their own private retreat, but like to be close to the town center and facilities. The main street, shops, pubs, cafe, library and playground are all within 1-2 minutes walk. Children and dogs are welcome and have plenty of room to play in the extensive lawn and garden areas.
The house has been lovingly restored and furnished with a mix of new and old to create stylish, comfortable living while also keeping with the vintage era of the house.
Guests will have access to the entire house and garden, including the cellar!
There is one full bathroom and an extra toilet in the laundry.
Everything you need to feel at home, including free Wifi and Netflix.
The high ceilings and brick walls keep the house lovely and cool in Summer. We also put portable air conditioners and pedestal fans in the rooms during summer to help keep you comfortable. There is a cosy wood fire in the lounge to keep you warm in Winter, as well as heaters in all bedrooms and in the cellar.

The town has a well maintained Olympic sized swimming pool and toddler pool open in the Summer months, about 5 mins walk.

If you are ONE COUPLE or ONE PERSON requiring just one room please select 1 guest when booking (and let us know you are a couple in the message section when booking)

*IF YOU ARE 2 PEOPLE WISHING TO USE 2 BEDS/ROOMS PLEASE select 2 guests when booking.

For all other bookings of 2 PEOPLE OR MORE please enter the number of guests staying when making booking

CLEANING FEE IS INCLUDED IN PRICE.

Extra guests $50/person.

There is a porta-cot for infants available on request, linen included (extra $20)
We also have space to put an extra bed on the floor if it is required. (Please inquire)

Dogs $20 fee per dog per night.
Dogs can sleep in the back lobby or the laundry. Doggy bowls for dry food and water are provided.
There is also a large kennel in the backyard for the outside sleepers. We ask that no pets are to go into the rooms with carpets/rugs or to go on any furniture.
Please let me know if you’re bringing a pet.

Lovely quick stay.

Really nice overnight stay on the way through to Adelaide. Felt like we only used a ‘wee bit’ of the house as we were only there overnight. Good bed too and great shower.

Hidden Gem

This property is without doubt a hidden gem in the heart of Bordertown. I would highly recommend this as a place to stop and rest if you are passing through. It felt warm and cozy and we all enjoyed a glass of wine in the cellar. We will definitely stay again.

Bordertown bliss

We did a quick pit stop in Bordertown travelling from Melbourne to Adelaide. Sadie house was Gorgeous place and imade travelling long distance easier. Beautifully decorated and spacious rooms throughout. Superquick walk to town and eateries. Loved all the extras!! Thank you Anna

This heritage home has been tastefully renovated with a quaint cellar room, wood heater and all modern conveniences. It is easy walking distance to all the little town has to offer including local pub meals. Great stopover or place to stay to explore the area.

Gem for rural town

Lives up to the name as a boutique bed and breakfast. Great mid-point stop from Melbourne to Adelaide. Spacious rooms and love that there are different nooks around the home. One of the best bnbs I’ve stayed in.

Beautiful place

We were so impressed with our stay and one of the best we’ve stayed at. Every little thing had been catered for and we really felt at home. A Christmas tree was even set up in the lounge room and the kids loved it. Lots of toys/ games for kids to do. Quiet impressed. We look forward to staying here again on our passing through to Victoria.

Cute and Quaint comfort

Our stay in this older style home was so warming. From the entry through the front door I knew we would love it. The decorative styling and furniture were in keeping with the age of the building and yet the facilities had all the mod cons necessary for ease of use and comfort. I love the coffee machine! Just a little care was needed taking the steps to the cellar ... it was so nice and cool.

Perfect overnighted!

Had an Overnight stopover to Adelaide at this house. Kids loved all the board games and wifi of course! Great size house with a beautiful yard which was great for our dog to enjoy. Adults thoroughly enjoyed the space and a coffee machine, appreciated the breakfast provisions too, hosts have thought of everything
