"Excellent stay. Affordable, clean, good location. Breakfast options could’ve been a bit better but standard so far as a continental breakfast goes I suppose. The rooms were spacious and clean. Comfortable beds and attentive staff! 20/10 would recommend! "

"The property and staff are excellent. Trotters Restaurant inside the facility is reasonably priced and serves well prepared meals. The bed mattress was soft yet very comfortable. I also liked that the room temperatures were controlled by a thermostat instead of a window unit. Best Inn that I ever stayed at for the price I paid. I would definitely stay again when I am in town. "

"I’m OBSESSED with Charleston Sc. We celebrated our son’s birthday here SEVERAL times. We loved it & came to celebrate his 19th birthday. The hotel was clean, spacious, welcoming, very well stocked, and whatever we needed they provided instantly. The beds were comfortable & clear of all bugs (bed bugs) the bathroom was clean too. "Oh my word. Where do I begin? As soon as we walked in, we were greeted. They quickly got my room keys and told us about the freebies. The lobby was beautiful! "We absolutely loved our stay and wished we could have stayed longer. The mansion is beautiful with so much history and our room was very comfortable and surprisingly quiet. The bath was wonderful especially with a fireplace right there. We ate at the restaurant which was incredible- had the two tasting menus which was so fun and highly recommended. Parking is a breeze. "We loved the pool and the location. The house was beautiful and our room was too. However, the listing on Expedia says there is “free” offsite parking 0.3 miles away. When we arrived the spots on the property were full so I took the parking suggestion sent in my guidebook and headed to the 34 St Phillips Street Parking Garage.
