"Had a bad experience hot tub was cold, food was underwhelming and expensive. They have these fireplaces in the rooms and they get extremely hot when on. There is a warning sign but no protection in front of the fireplace. My daughters touched the glass and burned her hand. We had to take her to the ER, not what we planned to do on our vacation."

"We really enjoyed our time at Otter crest! The views were absolutely beautiful and made the whole stay feel so peaceful and relaxing. It was the perfect place to unwind and take it all in. We would definitely come back!"

"This is quite the gem! I stayed in the king whirlpool room. It was very spacious, well equipped and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The whirlpool is fantastic but I felt self conscious of the noise from the jets. Everything on the property was well cared for and the staff was friendly. And a stone's throw to the beach. I'll be a repeat guest! "

"Great funky, eclectic, retro decor. Self serve ammeneties room is well stocked with movies, blankets, coffee, and toiletries in case you forgot something. Had a fun time around the fire, that Randy helped me build, visiting with other guests. The croquet golf out back was a fun little distraction."

"There was ants in my room and on the bathroom counter. They switched me rooms, that room had ants also, and a soap bar with hairs on it behind the bathroom door . The manager still persisted that we pay for the rooms. Only a $65 credit was given. The manager refused to talk with me."

"Bathroom was not clean. Mirrors weren’t even wiped down. The worst part for us was that we booked this room specifically for the pool and at check in (6:45pm) I was informed that the pool would be closed at 7:00pm because they don’t have a night manager. This was a trip for my nieces 6th birthday and was a very important part of her special trip. Come to find out at checkout the clerk could have called the guy checking me out that all she had to do was call him and we could have swam for an hour...

"The location was fantastic with sweeping ocean view from the main room of the suite and stairs to the beach out front."

"Overall a decent place to stay but I will look elsewhere if I return. The staff were kind and helpful, the general areas were relatively clean enough. In the hotel room the floors, sheets, and general surfaces were clean enough. The balcony and bathrooms were a disaster. The balcony looked like it hadn't seen by another person in 3 years. The bathroom was nearly unusable. Towels were clean and folded nicely, toilet was clean, sink was clean, but the tub had an old yellow stain that turned...
