"We loved the Bass Bungalow! This place is a gem. Clean, cozy and the views are awesome! Such a peaceful, quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed sitting on the porch soaking in the beautiful mountains and Lake Watauga. Our dog enjoyed swimming and had easy access to enter the lake. It was a perfect getaway for us. "

"Everything was as described. Beautiful views, beautiful house. All of your needs were met and more. We didnt have any issues, but I know if we did, Karen wouldve been rigjt there for us. Those stairs are no joke, though. If youre in shape, you wont have any issues. If youre older and not in shape, those stairs will kick your butt, lol. We very much enjoyed our stay and exploring the area around. "

"Laurel cabin was perfect for our stay. my dogs loved sitting outside along the river. The scenery was gorgeous, The accommodations were clean & adequate. The owners very helpful. I will probably choose to stay in Hemlock or Sycamore next time because of no stairs. Definetly plan to stay next year"

"If you’re looking for seclusion but still be close to civilization, this was it. I was by myself taking a few days away from the family for a reset and it was fabulous. Very little traffic noise, actually there was hardly any. And there were fireflies at night. It was great"

"This is a spacious home, with a beautiful front room that faces a pond. It's in a very relaxing location. Furniture is minimalist, could use an extra chair. On this trip, my sisters and I spent 3 days there and went to Barter theater to watch "Frozen." My nephew enjoyed the fishing. Great place, great show. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to relax."

"We drove up to Johnson City for orientation at ETSU and stayed one night. Very cute and clean place with comfortable beds!! Less than 10 min drive to ETSU. We plan to stay again when visiting our daughter at school. We absolutely loved Johnson City area! Thanks for letting us stay "

"Great location. The road was a bit washed out but that's too be expected with all the rain. It was the peaceful vacation in the mountains we were hoping for."

"Great, short stay at Mike's place. Cabin was cozy and had great amenities. Host communication was prompt and efficient. Would highly recommend.Two downsides:#1 - we couldn't stay longer!#2 - dogs across the street are kind of noisy...but that's not on Mike, just the nature of dogs."

"We thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quite the cottage had to offer. The porches surround three sides of the building nestled in the woods/mountains of TN. The personal touches and amenities offered by Diana and Mark made us feel at home and afforded us the rest and relaxation we desired. The check in process was a bit odd, the cottages are not clearly marked, they had to guess which cabin was theirs and try their code. Otherwise, this place was perfect. "Ms. Regina touched base a day ahead about check in which made the day of our arrival super easy. Everything about the house suited our needs from sleeping accommodations to kitchen supplies to hang out space for chit chats and board games. If your vacationing with someone whose experience is enhanced by the curb appeal (inside and out) this house is perfect- my sister is an artist and we were there to celebrate her 40th birthday and the house and all the interest of it meant a lot to her.
