"We had my daughters wedding here and it was perfect for the event. Plenty of room for many of the guests to stay and they all enjoyed it very much. There was one small issue and it was handled by staff in a timely and thoughtful manner. Well worth it! "

"Very clean property and although pet friendly, the dog hair was minimal. Comments regarding low ceilings are accurate but not a big deal even at my 6'3" height. Very quiet to the point I took advantage of the white noise maker in the bedroom. Great interior and shower. This owner cares about the stay of their customers!"

"A really nice two day getaway. The Appalachian Trail is easily accessed from the top of Rocky Spring Rd. Directions were excellent; cabin was cleaned and everything well labeled for visitors. "

"Absolutely Great stay. The host was outstanding and responded to us very quickly with all our questions. The history and the view are outstanding. We went fishing and walked on the Forge all the way across right at our front door. One of the best places I ever stayed. Must visit Downtown Shepherdtown and Hapers Ferry. Sooo much history . Also must eat at Rock Hill Creamery absolutely the best ice cream Ive ever had."

"Beautiful location right on the Potomac River."

"Incredibly charming home in the perfect location. Me, my husband, and small dog spent hours on the deck, people watching, admiring the butterflies and the scenery, and drinking local wine from the cute store across the street. Just a minute's walk to restaurants and a cafe, with an amazing ice cream shop down the steps. The house was clean and the beds were super comfortable. Highly recommend. "

"If you’re looking for a peaceful mountain retreat surrounded by the sounds of nature and a short drive from beautiful horse and wine country this is your place! "We really enjoyed our stay here, the location is perfect for exploring Harpers Ferry, within walking distance to everything. The cottage is well equipped, clean and cozy, perfect for a couples get away, would book again if returning to HF. The owner was very communicated, had well organized info for the stay and was easy to work with"

"It was a great stay. No complaints! Great communication with the hosts before and during our stay. Very clean and just like the photos. The only comments not entirely positive (but worth noting because it was one of my deciding factors in booking this property) is that the hot tub was not clean enough for us to be comfortable using (it is in the woods and may have been pollen coming through the screens—but it was covered) and I think one of the queen sized mattresses does need to be replaced in...
