"There was enough room for my large family to sleep and eat. It was very private and quiet as there are only cornfields and trees surrounding the property. The host was very helpful and friendly. There was not a swing set as pictured, but the kids had fun playing in the loft. "

"Scott was a fantastic host - very responsive & easy to work with! Lots of room for us to spread out & relax without feeling we were on top of each other! "The EarthHouse is wonderful. We experienced a nice clean comfortable space. The decorations were amazing with a mix of antiques and modern decor. We could tell the hosts were creative and artistic. The hosts gave us plenty of coffee, which I appreciated. The town is beyond charming. I highly recommend both a visit to the village of Mount Horeb as well as staying at the EarthHouse!"

"Stayed for the workweek with my teenage son. Felt comfortable walking outside and having my kid drive himself places (he is used to small town driving). Easy drive over to UW for practices but nice to be ‘living’ out of the bigger city. Loved seeing all the fireflies in the backyard each evening. Very attentive host, easy to communicate with and quick responses. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom and kitchen had what was needed to be able to make our own foods. "Thea was such an amazing host! As we walked in, we were greeted with a sweet note and dog treats for our guys. The house and property are beautiful! The windows in the house made for great sunsets and nature watching at breakfast. We even saw an Eagle on one of our hikes around the property. This is also a dogs paradise, it was hard to keep the dogs inside. We stayed almost a week and didn’t want to leave. "SW Wisconsin is so beautiful that if it was near Paris it would be world-famous. But if you want to make a multi-day walking trip there it is hard to find places to stay that are spaced through the region. This spot in Blanchardville made a perfect stop. "The apartment was very clean and comfortable. I noticed an oscillating fan that wasn't working and let the owner know; Maureen took care of it right away. The location is ideal. Close to New Glarus, Madison, and so many other great places to visit. We found some interesting games to play in the kitchen closet: Cat Crimes and Twizzle. One thing perhaps a bit surprising for an apartment: very quiet. Didn't hear any neighbor the entire visit!"

"The Hemlock was perfect for our family. We were visiting Spring Green for a family wedding and enjoyed all the clean space and fully equipped kitchen. We also had fun riding the electric bikes. Will definitely stay here on our next visit!"
