"My family and I stayed here in August 2025. Great cabin for a 6-person family stay. It's perfectly situated between Blowing Rock and Boone. I really liked the pet policy as we were able to bring our sm/med-sized parrot. The wrap around deck is nice for having outdoor meals. My only suggestion is to have the water damaged floor in the upstairs bathroom looked at. When you step near the shower, the floor sinks. "

"We loved the Sky Laurel Cottage! It is very cute and comfortable and has a great layout for a family with teens so everyone can have their own space. It’s centrally located in Blowing Rock but on a quiet road. The kitchen is tiny, as others mention, so not where you’d stay in you want to do much cooking. We would definitely stay here again. "

"The cabin was nicely furnished including kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. Great location being close to Blowing Rock and Boone. We especially enjoyed the fire pit each evening.
