"From when we arrived to when we left, we had a wonderful experience. The cabin was compact but spotless, with everything we needed We were picked up from the train station, they got us firewood so we could have a fire, more coffee whenever we asked. Georganne was an excellent host, and I'd stay there again."

"A hidden gem! Family friendly, full kitchen, efficient use of space, and comfortable beds. Preferred to have the right number of towels for the number of guests we confirmed for booking, but overall good experience. Would book again. "

"This really was a charming home built as a summer cottage with wood and charming decor, and now with an addition too. Very quiet. Our first time in East Glacier, it was a great location to visit Two Medicine, St. Mary and Browning. The owner must live here part time, lots of plants and photos. A wildflower in a vase greeted us. We would stay again. "

"Very clean. Host is great and very informative. Super close to East Glacier entry. Within walking distance to local General Store. Be nice to the local stray dogs. They are sweet and have a hard life. "

"Beautiful location. Super clean and quiet. Furniture and beds were nice, kitchen was well appointed. We enjoyed the deck outside and the beautiful flowers. Great location to see the east side of Glacier National Park. "

"We first stayed at Lone Elk Lodge 10 years ago. We had such a pleasant experience then that when we decided to return to Glacier National Park this summer, Lone Elk Lodge was our first search. We spent 4 nights here and it was exactly what we expected! Leslie, Carl, and family have a beautiful lodge that they have lovingly cared for and maintained over the years. "This was very cozy and an excellent vacation stay. The trains were barely noticeable to us. We had hiked from Walton Ranger station. There are also plenty of hikes in the National forest.The kitchen had all the essentials, but no dishwasher."

"This was the perfect little cabin to stay in while exploring Glacier National Park. It was right in the middle of both the East and West entrance allowing us to be able to explore both sides without having to drive too far. The cabin was cute and spacious. We enjoyed having a kitchen to be able to cook in. We loved sitting out on the deck enjoying the views, however, we did wish there was a table for eating but we made do. "Very nice property that was exactly as described. It provided a nice base for Galcier National Park. The only negative was the train which is very loud when trying to sleep. Other than that, it was wonderful."

"Perfect little house! Great location to explore west side of GNP…great food trucks and bakeries nearby"

"Chuck and Vickie were our hosts, they were great—there were fresh brownies on the counter when we arrived! They came over after we got in and visited with us, talked about the place and even shared how to use bear spray. He had a few bear sprays there at the house for us to use. There were 7 adults and we had plenty of room and ample seating. On our last night Chuck and Vickie stopped over with some fresh huckleberries for us to try. We really enjoyed our time! "
