"Overall, our stay was excellent. The room was very comfortable, and the view of the bridges in South Isensferrt was absolutely lovely. We dined at the restaurant and were very impressed — both the food and the service were great. Our only issue was with the check-out experience. I had an important meeting at 11 and we politely asked if we could have a slightly later checkout — just by 30 minutes to an hour. Unfortunately, the staff member at the front desk was quite abrupt and didn’t respond...

"The room was clean and the staff very friendly and efficient. Breakfast was okay but by the time you got what you needed it was on the cold side. Would be good if there was fresh fruit salad too."

"Bathroom smelled a little gross, possibly smoke but hard to tell as it was mixed with generic hotel bathroom smell. Room itself was perfectly fine, as was the rest of the hotel. Included breakfast was incredibly good value, and the full English/Scottish breakfast In particular was very tasty. 10 minute walk to the station and 3 minute walk to Tesco. Lovely area (a bit noisy on Friday/Saturday nights but not too bad). "

"Linen Bank has been renovated to a high standard. Fabulous, very comfortable. Jim was the perfect host, welcomed on arrival and shared info on area. Highly recommended. Close to Stirling, Glasgow & Edinburgh too."

"Very enjoyable place to rest from overwhelming city, quite and peaceful, a great place to relax. 15-20 min by train to Edinburgh so you can enjoy the city without being worried about traffic and parking."

"We loved our stay at the Dalmahoy this October. We had a four day holiday with a baby and toddler and had a nice, relaxing time thanks to the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the hotel. We had a superior double room which had plenty of space for two cots and still some. It was comfortably warm (during a storm too), but perhaps on the warmer side. We could hear noise on either side of our room but never enough to be distruptive. We had dinner at the Brasserie which suited our young...
