"It's not always that an experience lives up to your hype and expectations, but this place absolutely does! The cabin is well-equipped and cozy, just like you'd want in the middle of the woods. The deck was a great place for our family to enjoy meals, roast marshmallows, and watch hummingbirds (so many hummingbirds!). "This was just what we needed. This location is remote, quiet, and peaceful. It was wonderful to see the stars at night, watch the chipmunks and the hummingbirds zip around during the day. I felt very relaxed the whole time we were here. Not having cell phone signal is wonderful. It was the perfect weekend getaway.You are close to Golden Gate Canyon State Park, which has great hiking, as well as some other trail heads. If you need anything, or feel like going out to eat, Nederland isn't far away...

"We loved our stay! It was perfect for our kids who love the outdoors- they loved playing in the creek and exploring the property. The natural sound machine of the creek was amazing and we even saw a moose walk right by on the other side of the creek one night! The hot tub and a warm shower each night was an added bonus, perfect for those who love camping but would prefer some glamping "

"We had a very comfortable stay. It was nice having an on-site office. Check in /out were easy, the unit and grounds were well-kept and quiet, and the location was great for us."

"We had 16 adults and 7 children in our group. We stayed in March (our spring break). This lodge was so wonderful for our group!! More than adequate bedding, wonderful kitchen area!! The kids had a blast outside, sledding and building a snowman. The game room was also a real treat for the kids.We had the best time, and in modt part was due to this place!! "We had a wonderful stay! The location was ideal for attending a concert at Red Rocks – we experienced zero traffic leaving the venue, which was a huge bonus. "The cabin was perfect for our needs on this trip. Check in wasn’t as smooth as I have previously experienced with VRBO because the phone listed to contact wasn’t the host. Once the Host got my message everything was ok. We didn’t use much in the kitchen but it was adequate. My only complaint was the bed frame because the end stuck way out and we both hit out toes on it until we put a shoe beside it so we had to make a wider turn! "I had a wonderful 2 night stay at this cabin, It is in a beautiful, quiet and peaceful location. The cabin is well appointed, the bed is comfortable, and everything was clean, cozy, and and welcoming. Its just a short walk down a hill where you can sit and have a cup of coffee or a beer to watch the beavers busy at work while you take in the sights. The scenic hike up to the snowfield was super fun, a must do while in the area! I will certainly consider staying here again!"
