"I will admit when I first saw the property I was a little skeptical however it is a older property it's been around in Williamsburg forever. In this day and age if you're paying $90 for a room you really cannot expect much but at least a clean room and that is what this Howard Johnson provided. "The hotel is room nice for the price range, and the lobby is great. Breakfast was awesome with scrambled eggs each day and alternating sausage or bacon and french toast or diced potatoes, and 2 waffle makers plus the standard continental breakfast options. The only pool (outside) looked a little green - but we never asked about it since we were using the "awake" portion of our day at Busch Gardens."

"My husband and I stayed for the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It was like a home away from home, since it had a kitchen, dining rm, living rm, bedroom, and a huge bathroom. We had a large balcony that was shaded and private. We enjoyed hanging out at the pool both days. Check in was easy and the staff was polite and helpful. Very Family friendly and a safe place to stay."

"Located outside main Williamsburg, you’ll be driving to anything in town, but located decently close to downtown. Quiet, clean, friendly and communicable staff. Would stay again. "

"Such a spacious, family and budget friendly stay! We have toddlers so we did have to relocate fragile items during our stay and the stairs leading to the separate rental were a safety concern. "

"The hotel is in a great area, staff were very quick and friendly with checking in. Driving was very easy for us to get to our destinations in a timely manner. You have hotels, shopping, dining, attractions and etc. very convenient for people new or visiting to the area. Only one small problem, we seen a few strands of hair but not enough to complain. I will definitely stay at this hotel again! Thank you for your service "
