Heart of beautiful Betws-y-Coed - well-equipped Victorian stone railway cottage

Overlooking the miniature steam railway in Betws-y-Coed, this 19th Century Victorian stone railway cottage offers quality accommodation in the heart of this highly popular village in the beautiful Snowdonia National Park. The property includes two double bedrooms and one single bedroom, the kitchen is stylish and well-equipped, and the sitting room has a dining area and doors to the patio. There is ample parking for 2 cars.

There is much going on a few minutes walk from your front door: delightful shops, pubs, cafes, restaurants and galleries in the village; the Tree Tops Adventure Park; and access to many walks and cycle tracks. For the more adventurous, the Marin Mountain Bike Trail is a few miles north of Betws-y-Coed and Surf Snowdonia is a short drive away. The rest of Snowdonia and the surrounds offer walking, cycling and climbing for everyone. A bus stop & train station at your door step makes access easy to the scenic mountains of Snowdonia or the beautiful beaches and historic coastline of North Wales.

Touch halogen hob with built in extractor hood & neff convection oven. Microwave convection oven,TV, DVD, radio. Terraced patio with furniture to the front of the property overlooking the railway. Separate garden with furniture by parking. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop / cafe 2 min walk, pub 4 mins walk. Note: The railway runs adjacent to this cottage, with approximately 6 trains per day passing in both directions. The property does have wifi and a smart TV.

Great, little find. Its ideally situated close to local stores excellent bakery, Gift shops, Pizza & wine. Our beautiful cottage was like home from home. Warm and cozy. Comfy beds, amazing bathroom. Recliner sofas, french doors to Outdoors space. Mr & Mrs Robin came a calling every day.. Great weather for our whole stay. Highly recommend to anyone thinking of Visiting North Wales . Definitely will book again.

A lovely cottage in a beautiful village that we have always wanted to stay in during our many visits to North Wales. Blessed with great weather. The house has everything you need. Only addition would be a few more kitchen essential (cooking oil, salt) but did not spoil a fantastic time. Central for everything North Wales has to offer. Will definitely want to come back to this property.

All was very good except for on arrival the dustbins which were rammed to overflowing. We put them out but main dustbin remained not picked up due to the collection being missed on the Monday morning. Key box not easy to fathom out at first and took time to work out there were two buttons, one not obvious. Parking arrangements not clear for accommodation. On the whole we were really happy, nice and clean and facilities were all very good.

Mycket trevlig vistelse. Mysigt boende i hus, i perfekt läge för oss som åkte mycket tåg och buss, centralt men ändå mycket lugnt. Fint gammalt hus som förståeligt är något svårstädat. Hjälpsamma och tillmötesgående ägare när vi fick problem med resan och tvingades ändra ankomstdatum för att få ihop det. Mycket uppskattat.

My stay at Rose cottage

I had an amazing stay for 5 days. As a full time carer for my father who's 93, it was a much needed break & I really didn't want to leave. It's a fantastic base straight in the center & great for walking & biking so it very much suited me.

Week in the railway cottage

The cottage was well equipped and ideal locations. We enjoy walking and climbing. We checked out a say late. I made an error with the booking. The host was very understanding, fortunately we were able to pay fir the additional night.

Wonderful stay at the Railway Cottage

A lovely, cosy cottage in a perfect location. We had everything we needed for a great stay, comfortable beds, amazing shower/bath and ideal location. First time staying here and we will definitely be going back and recommending to our friends.

We love Betsy-y-coed and staying in this cottage

Great to be back!The house could do with replacing a few things, especially the outdoor furniture at the front and in the garden. Also the curtains in.the main bedroom. Overall, we enjoyed pur stay, we will be back.
