"This was 3 days free-time between an 11-day Globus bus tour from Vienna to Lucerne and a 7-day Avalon River cruise from Basil to Amsterdam. "Everything about this property was exquisite. The room, service, location, everything. The ONLY drawback was attempting to get there to park. It is in the old town that seems like it is pedestrian only. It was VERY nerve-racking driving down those streets packed with people to get there. Once there, it was ideal."

"Quite a nice property across the street from the train station. The staff were wonderful. The room was too high tech - way too many buttons it got frustrating at times. Also the air conditioning wasn’t all that great. But overall a great place. I’d stay there again for sure. "

"Really nice place. Excellent breakfast. Great location, close to the river and shopping. Parking was a bit hard to find, but that was entirely my fault for not watching the video they sent in advance."

"Friendly, courteous, helpful staff. Changed the pressure in my bed and brought me an extra pillow to help me recover from my flight. They went out of their way to ensure my comfort. Severs at breakfast were also courteous and helpful. Food at. Breakfast was very solid, good, and reliable. Bathroom was clean and well designed. I liked that I could have a tub. I appreciated that there was both a desk chair and sitting chair. Climate control worked well. "

"Upon arrival the splendour of the old building, its design and location was a stand out. The reception staff greeted us with poise and helpfulness. Our room, initially, was not what we hoped for. It was no trouble for the staff to change our room to one with a balcony - such was their helpfulness. Our stay was made easier by the ready availability of fresh fruit and milk sachets for guests. Sitting in the parlour was a joy as there were plenty of interesting books to read. A highly recommended...

"Great Location, very central ( very hard to get to if you are driving to and from) but walking distance to everything. The staff are very nice overall. The negative, is the rooms are quite small, certainly a bit misleading atleast from Expedia represenration picture, may not be anything to do with hotel itself. Bathroom and toilet weird layout in what must be standard room."
