"This site is nice. Definitely off grid. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, hard at a rock. The tioilet/porta potty to the site we booked was out of order so we needed to go to the next site over.We had to cut our trip sorry due to illness and couldn't get a refund."

"I think this is our fifth time to stay at Chez Zigzag, starting in 2013 and we love the hospitality of the owners, the views from the rooms (including from the shower), the convenience of the location and the furnishings including some nice artwork and interesting other pieces. They keep adding to and improving the property and it is certainly one of the best places to stay in Port Angeles. Also recommend the Country Aire grocery store very near by."

"The place was new, clean, and very nice! Pictures were 100% accurate and it was in a beautiful location. It felt spacious for a tiny house. There was no WiFi which made planning our days a little more challenging, but as long as you plan and route ahead of time it is all good!"

It was the perfect location while my daughter and I were exploring the area (Olympic Natl Park); everything was exactly as listed and we had privacy and peace. "Loved seeing the black tailed deer around! Nice location, between Sequim and Port Angeles. The private beach access was special. We could see the eagles nest from the deck. Thank you!"

"Although the exterior does not look fancy, the interior is surprisingly nice, spacious and well decorated. Bedrooms, bathrooms are very clean. On top of the property condition, the location is very convenient, Safeway and the pier are within walking distance. Highly recommend this property."

"Great attention to detail makes this a wonderful place to stay. Small added touches made our stay in the area that much more pleasant: a few snacks on arrival, K-cups for the Keurig, and coolers to keep our lunches cold. Kitchen was well stocked, and we used the gas grill twice for dinner. We enjoyed using the hot tub in the evening, lots of beach towels provided. Space was perfect home base for exploring various parts of the park during our 4 night stay. "

"What a find!! Ed's cottage is wonderful, the cottage itself is cozy and cute and the property has lovely views and beach access. Ed was very welcoming and kind and even included the tide schedule for our stay as well as local recommendations. Add in the close proximity to Port Townsend and the cottage had a full kitchen, it was absolutely wonderful. I'll be back, that's a guarantee. "

"Very off the grid. Nice walkable property. The bed in our tent was very uncomfortable, extremely hard. Head to cut our visit sorry due to illness but would go back with extra supplies to make the bed more comfortable."

"Beautiful historical hotel, the rooms were comfortable, the bed too and we liked the vintage style fridge. Because this is a historical building the walls are very thin and you can hear everything! I'd give it a higher rating but the thin walls were an annoyance. Also, no AC in the unit."
