"The facility was lovely. It was old but very clean and the grounds were superlative! The staff was outstanding and the shuttle service drivers were so patient and helpful!! We so enjoyed our stay, and I would recommend this facility to anyone looking to enjoy the zoo or Old Town. So glad we found this beautiful place to stay!!"

"The property was OK. But there was an issue with my confirmation. Originally, they said they could not find the reservation. Luckly, I had the confirmation number, but it took them a while to find it and check me in. They said it had something to do with being booked via a third party (Expedia I suppose). Not sure where the problem is (Expedia, the hotel, or some place else), but Luckly they had a room. It is something that needs to be fixed."

"Traveled from Las Vegas to San Diego and had a great experience. Everything was conveniently close by food, transportation, and lots of things to do. The staff was very helpful, the environment was very clean, and everything felt organized. Would definitely come back next year!"

"I never stay in any Motel 6's..because of the amenities..I stay there cause it will have a shower and bed..that's it..and it will be inexpensive...now this property seemed to be under new owners...the outside of property is very well lit..I think cause their are alot of shady characters walking around..being next to freeway, is also a little noisy...now the pool is large and plenty of chairs to relax on..the location is really why you stay here tho..very centralized to everything in San...

"Alot of broken item in the room. Refgerator not working. Shower head broken, toilet seat broken, two out of the 4 lights were not working. Never stay here again. Very disappointed."

"This was the best! I loved staying here. Friday night burgers and pancake breakfast. It beat every hotel easily and to add to it, the volunteers were so hospitable. I really connected with them all. It felt like a distant family reunion."
