"We had the best stay! Clean and plenty of room for 2-4 people. The beds downstairs were so comfortable (we didn’t use the loft). It had everything we needed; towels, bedsheets, toilet paper, etc. which made our travels easy. It is conveniently located to Havelock, Morehead City, and Newport. "

"Great little place on the water. Quiet neighborhood, friendly locals, and super nice host. Its a definite gem. Restaurant at entrance to neighborhood was a great breakfast spot. Get it to go and enjoy it on the porch overlooking to the water. Bring your boat just keep in mind the clearance of the bridge is 5-6ft and the ramp is just on the other side. Fishing from the dock was good as well. Host has put a lot of thought to being sure you have everything you might need while there. Attention to...

"We are moving away from NC and needed two nights in New Bern to complete closing. We absolutely LOVED that our last two nights were at this property. It’s clean, cozy, and in such a great location! We highly recommend a stay here!"

"Nice little get away with lots to do!"

"We had a wonderful time visiting New Bern and staying at this apartment. Ideally located in Historic Downtown, we left the car parked and walked everywhere with our dog. We knew that the apartment was pet friendly, but the entire downtown area welcomed us and our fur baby girl. We were allowed to take her into a handful of shops and there were several restaurants or eateries that provided outdoor seating. We were surprised to see that two restaurants we visited offered a four-legged guest menu...

"The back porch was my favorite place to be. Great location "

"We were very pleased with the property. We brought our 25’ center console and was able to maneuver it and park at the dock. Water depth at the dock is around 3-4’ depending on which way the wind is blowing. The water depth varied between 4-5” in the 3 days we were there but was still plenty for the boat. We had a fantastic stay and look forward to coming back! Thanks Brooke and Red!"

"Quiet, clean, comfortable cottage in the country. Private dock with boat ramp short drive away. Great place for fishing and crabbing. We really enjoyed our stay! "

"As the description says, it is a unique place. Since this is a former business and the accommodations are set up in there, you don't get a full kitchen, just a coffee maker and toaster oven. It didn't bother us at all, since we weren't going to cook anyway. The aquarium with the fish is gorgeous. Slightly noisy, since the pump has to be running constantly. Not ideal for light sleepers, but it can be fixed with some ear plugs. The location is right across the river, and everything is roughly...
