"Host communicated well, made the process very easy. The home is older and it’s a little loud sitting between RR tracks and main thoroughfare. It wasn’t fancy but served our purpose well. "

"Loved it. We love Frontenac and the surrounding area. You can hike to the state park from the cabin (3.5 miles to point no point) We Kayaked, Hiked and even did a winery tour at Villa Bellezza in Pepin. Our Host was conscientious and helpful. On our first night we blew a fuse and the refrigerator was out, Randy came over at 7:30 the next morning with a bag of ice (in case he couldn't mend the fridge) and even some of his homemade maple syrup. "Overall super impressed with the beauty of this home on the Mississippi (aka Lake Pepin). Gorgeous views, tons of birds, river/lake activity to watch, peaceful settings on either side of the home to enjoy outside...except trains. Lots of them. "We enjoyed our stay at Whispering Pines in Prescott, WI. The house is lovely and has a lot of space to spread out in. Our hosts were appropriately attentive. Lovely town and a great venue for a visit!"

"This is a beautiful property overlooking the water. New construction so everything is updated nicely. Pictures are as shown, beautiful view of Pepin, rooftop area very nice but the units deck was also wonderful! Only suggestions are very minor: not much for confidence supplies if you cook a lot—tin foil, plastic wrap, general spices. And the shower head doesn’t have any adjustments, it is very fine and strong spray, a bit harsh on areas like your face. Overall loved our stay! Would definitely...

"We visited Red Wing for a family wedding. My family stayed at this charming home. The inside is very updated, but the house retains its charm. Nice front porch that we enjoyed coffee on in the morning, comfortable rooms and furniture. Very nice find for us and highly recommend you book this house for your trip."

"We stayed here for a girlfriends 3 night weekend get away. We really enjoyed Vern's cabin !!The cabin had everything we needed. It is very peaceful and serene there. We really enjoyed the patio for coffee in the morning, the fire pit at night, and watching the river. We saw & heard lots of birds, eagles & Blue Herons....Bunnies and a big turtle too. The cabin is not fancy but it is perfect for a get away. Redwing is right there and we had a lot of fun shopping, eating out, and checking out...
