"So thrilled to have found this little gem. Needed an overnight stay near Monmouth, we stayed on Boxing Day evening, with our dog. Beautiful room , We ate in the bar, food first class. I imagine we will pay another visit if in the area. "

"Our room at the Deri-Down was lovely and comfortable with a large walk-in wardrobe and a modern well equipped en-suite shower room. There was a multi-channel TV, a small fridge with milk, tea/cofffee provided. The landlady was very helpful and allowed my son and his wife to change in our room for the wedding we were all going to. "Everything about our stay was absolutely lovely. Our room was clean and very nice. Any amenity that you could possibly need. The owners/staff were extremely nice and accommodating. The provided breakfast was delicious and cooked to order. I would highly recommend them!"

"We very much enjoyed our stay again at The Dragon. Lovely location in centre of Crickhowell. Staff were very friendly and helpful and excellent customer service despite being very busy. Food was excellent.Very clean room. The only challenge was driving our car through the very narrow entrance to the car park but appreciate that the building is very old and no cars back then! "

"This hotel provided me with a fantastically located place to stay whilst attending a nearby wedding. Situated within a gorgeous looking building the hotel makes use of its period features without giving a dated impression. The room I stayed in was spotless and had everything I needed to make my stay as comfortable as possible. "A beautiful converted train wagon nestled in the Welsh countryside. Very well put together with most amenities available. Very comfy bed - small but well sized for a intimate break together.
