"This was my third time staying at the Marriott JFK Hotel in New York, and unfortunately this stay was disappointing compared to my previous visits. I was assigned a room on the 11th floor, and throughout my stay there was a strong food odor coming into the room. The smell seemed to be coming from the hotel’s kitchen or ventilation system and was noticeable inside the room for extended periods of time. "Clean room and comfortable, staff very helpful and the breakfast is good, overall the hotel itself, I consider is good, but once outside the hotel, you have to be more aware the surroundings, especially at night, when you come back to the hotel."

"The staff on check-in wasn’t the best, social skills were at an all time low, but the guy at the evening was great, would’ve been good to know that if you’re out the room for longer than 4 hours you’ll need to get your room key replaced as it auto locks I for one didn’t know that, also I use the breakfast"

"It was a little off the beaten path which wasn’t too terrible. But there is a large construction site next door that was a little loud. Also the walls are kind of thin. They are in the middle of a renovation though so I had to give them grace. The staff was friendly and the room was clean, if a little small. Very close to a subway station too which was nice. Overall not too bad."
