"Comfortable and quiet is what we were looking for and the home met our expectations. Five of us stayed for a week and we had a great time. The house is well stocked which made cooking from home easy. Susan and Philip were great hosts and quick to respond to questions. We’ll be back if they’ll have us!"

"Great place for our getaway will stay again soon. Just bring bed sheets. pillows and blankets and towels kitchens are full equipped for cooking. Place was big and roomy and cozy Had a fireplace but didn’t use it. The area is under a burn ban at the moment so we wasn’t able to use firepit at nights walking distance to water hole to soak your feet for the time being Leakey about a 10min drive or so. "Check-in was super easy and directions to the cabin were very helpful. Christy, our host, was extremely responsive to our questions and requests. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to be back as soon as possible! The stargazing and wildlife were spectacular. The crazy rains prevented us from enjoying river time, but it’s very nice private access. "

"We enjoyed our stay at Mona's cabin on the river. Home is well stocked and has 2 nice sitting areas outside. The yard has lots of shade and stayed pretty cool and breezy for the middle of summer. The walk down to the river is beautiful and has a spring creek that feeds into the Nueces which gave a nice spot to cool down."

Only 5 minutes from the park entrance, the beautiful yard area and dog friendly policy originally drew us in, and the charming little cabin vibe made it perfect!
