"Check-in was easy and the young man at the desk (i did not catch his name) was super welcoming and when asked he gave us an excellent recommendation for the following day. Other staff were great at breakfast as well. The room was clean, well stocked with towels. Not a problem for us but the room had no safe which could be an issue for some. My only problem was that there was no air in the room and it was very stuffy. A notice on the desk warned about not opening the windows at night to avoid...

"Rosdarrig House is a beautifully maintained residence. The room was large and very comfortable. Breakfast was perfect. Our hostess and her helper were very accommodating. The only drawback was the evenings were very chilly so I couldn't sit outside in the garden to watch the sunsets. That's no fault of our hostess."

"Nice fresh room with good size comfortable bed but very small shower room. The facilities are good and there is a car park at extra charge. Very central for Sligo. We did eat in the restaurant but did have a drink in the bar ( barman could have a little training in customer service nothing bad but a little blunt). I would recommend and will stay again. "

"We got a warm welcome from the staff at reception when we arrived which set the scene for a lovely relaxed stay. Our room was clean, well equipped, quiet with a nice view of the garden. We had a nice evening meal in the bar restaurant with excellent service and our breafast was all we could wish for. Wish we were able have stayed a bit longer. Will definitely be back. "

"I booked and prepaid for a double room with en-suite. Upon arrival, when they saw I was alone, I was moved to a single room with restroom down the hall and downstairs. I am a 65 y/o woman, traveling alone. I need a bathroom at night. None of the sinks worked, except for the one downstairs powderoom. If I needed water for the kettle or wash my hands after toilet-down the stairs I went. This is not a lodge, it is someone’s home. I was very uncomfortable. WiFi worked as did the TV. No...

"Bit of a trek from car park to the rooms, even using the lift need to carry luggage or groceries up stairs. Room doors are very heavy and 7 year old couldn't open them himself. Otherwise accommodation was comfortable and clean, with spectacular views."
