We stayed with a group of 21 (including 7 kids). The home was clean, and the photos are accurate. It’s in a quiet, private location with good access to Frankfort and nearby distilleries. The kitchen had the basics, though the coffee maker was very slow (30 minutes per pot) and the refrigerator is a standard side-by-side—not ideal for a large group.While the listing advertises sleeping space for 29, many of these are cots or beds in open areas. There are only two true bedrooms: a master with a queen bed and broken pull-out sofa, and a basement room with a full bunk. There’s a large bunk room with 9 beds, and the rest of the sleeping areas lack privacy.There are only three bathrooms, one inside the master suite, so expect some coordination with a group. The house may technically sleep 29, but it doesn’t have the infrastructure to support that number comfortably. We’d recommend it for smaller groups (20 or fewer), or for guests who don’t mind shared sleeping arrangements—like a bachelor party.Overall, we had a good family trip, but future guests should be aware of the limitations when planning.

The lodge is beautiful, plenty of room for all of us, and just about everything we needed. It rained about every day, but we did some fishing and deck time in, and it was just a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Thank you, Mary!

Great Place to Stay

You will be very pleased if you book this property. House was very clean, the checkin process was easy and communication with property manager was great. House has lots to do like fishing, foosball, pool and air hockey. Lots of room for all guests to sleep. Was also close to many distilleries which was a plus for us.

Overall good

The property is nice. A few small up keep items would make this property excellent. The game room did not have pool cues that were usable and the air hockey table was pretty beat up. There is plenty of room for the 18 people we had there.

Another wonderful family getaway!

We just finished up our annual week-long family reunion at Chandler Ridge. The family comes and goes as they need, and we are able to kick back, relax, and enjoy each other and the wonderful, peaceful quiet. Mary responded immediately when we had an issue, and was extremely respectful of our privacy and time together. Absolutely fabulous!

Great Place for A Bourbon Trail tour

We had 10 people and for 10 there was plenty of room. Property met with our expectations completely!! It advertises up to 29…not sure how comfortable it would be for a group larger than 12. Nice outdoor firepit area and the kitchen facilities enabled us to have group meals nightly. Rate was quite reasonable for the entire home.

Birthday celebration on the bourbon trail

Our party of 12 came together from all across the country and this location to celebrate the big 4-0 by touring some distilleries on the bourbon trail. This home was in a prime location to be able to fit in some of our favorites in the same day. There was more than enough room for all 12 of us; the cabin is stunning, cozy, and inviting; and their customer service is on point. Thank you for being such a wonderful part of the memories that will last all of us a lifetime!

Great Value home!

It was a good find location for our 5 adult children and 8 grandchildren traveling from different states. Overall I’m thankful I found this place to sleep all my family at the price. We had some come Friday night left Saturday night and some come Saturday and leave Sunday. There were few things I was disappointed. The fridge didn’t looked like it was cleaned I had to wipe down every shelf and drawers. Food was left in there. Countertop had to be wiped down. Some cooking item’s didn’t looked clean so I did some cleaning before use. Ceiling fan on main floor did not work. No information was given about it. I’m glad I brought a little fan. The remote to the fan looked like it has been broken for awhile. No curtains in bedrooms or throughout the house. Privacy for bedroom windows and doors could be better. Overall it was a good find for last minute booking. I would consider this place again.

Great Cabin in the Country

Our family really enjoyed staying at the cabin after my mom's service. There were 13 of us and it was just right with plenty seating, lots of kitchen dishes, pans, bathroom towels and supplies. Lots of games for entire family to enjoy and had smores at the fire pit. The owners were very kind and have done a great job of upkeep on the cabin. Three of our grandkids got to see snow for the first time. Praying our family gets to return to stay in this cabin again.

Christmas stay

Our family stayed here for Christmas this year and loved our experience. This was our second time staying at this cabin, but first over the holidays. Everything was as expected. Easy check-in process, plenty of space to gather, well stocked kitchen for cooking meals, and games and activities (both inside and out) for everyone. The cabin was also decorated for Christmas which was a really nice touch with this stay. We would absolutely stay here again in the future! Thanks for a wonderful experience and Christmas memories!

Perfect Getaway For Large Families

Great cabin in close proximity to several distilleries. Communication with the owner was excellent. She answered all our questions very quickly. The cabin was clean and decorated for Christmas, which our family loved. We enjoyed the trails and my son found that their pond does have 5lb largemouth bass. Know that if you go with multiple families or large groups, you'll most likely be sharing some bedrooms. We were aware of this ahead of time and didn't bother us. Only thing keeping the cabin from 5 stars is lack of grocery storage. The cabin only has 1 fridge and has no pantry, so majority of our food and drinks had to be kept on the counter tops or kitchen floor (or outside to stay cold). The cabinets were stocked with all the dishes and cookware you need, but left no room for food storage. A beverage fridge in the basement would have been a big plus. But it did not stop us from enjoying the place. We had a great Thanksgiving week with lots of laughs, walks, and pool and foosball tournaments!

Wonderful Getaway for Our Group

There was a group of 12 Ladies from the Class of 1967 High School. We get together every Fall and have for several years. This location was great for us. We did have a small problem with the bridge being out and had to detour to get there, but once there everything was great. Plenty of room for parking and playing games. Thanks for the stay and we will surely look to stay here again..
