"We had such an amazing day with Caroline! She is the kindest person! It was such a treat to be able to enjoy Normandy in this atmosphere. The accommodations were perfect for our family of four with two adult children. We enjoyed our stay immensely! I highly recommend to anyone!"

"I would have liked to know that the safes in the rooms were not in working order. That was frustrating. The only other complaint was the lack of electrical outlets in the room. Other than that, the hotel, staff, grounds, and staff were lovely. "

Nous avions une chambre familiale rénovée, spacieuse et confortable, mais elle sentait encore la peinture, ce qui n’était pas très agréable. De plus, une prise sur deux ne fonctionnait pas et certaines finitions restaient à faire. Le petit déjeuner n’est pas au niveau attendu pour un 3 étoiles. "The Chateau is very charming and quaint. The rooms don’t offer air conditioning but they provided fans. Initially the fan we had was blowing heat and the staff couldn’t locate a different one for us so we saw them assembling something at registration and when we returned to our room later there was a brand new, better fan waiting for us. It was much appreciated given the heat wave. The mattresses are hard and lumpy. The location is fantastic! It was a great late afternoon when we could sit in...

"Le Castel is situated in a great spot to get to if you arrive by train to Bayeux. It is only about 10min . It is located to Vieux Centre ville/ downtown , steps to the Bayeux Cathedral and restaurants. While location was great- our room needed better ventilation ( it was musty smelling) and the carpeting was quite soiled. The room needed updating overall. Our TV did not work, there is no mini fridge and no shampoo/conditioner. Also note- there is no air conditioning. It does have some charm...
