"We had a wonderful time visiting family and friends in my hometown. This is a beautiful house, and we’re thankful to have stayed there and made new memories. This was our second stay. We would not hesitate to have a third. Thanks so very much for sharing this unique place. "

"Very welcoming and comfortable cabin. High end finishes and spectacular views of lake from livingroom and main bedroom. A dresser or closet with hanging space would've been nice in both bedrooms. Neighbors nearby but very quiet area and short drive to Chippewa Falls. Would definitely recommend. "

"It is a beautiful location. Far enough away but close enough to get to everything easily. The property is super well maintained and the Host is great!!"

"Great location, peaceful and comfortable. Had everything we needed for a good stay. I would suggest a little more deep cleaning and some sort of instructions for operating the heat system . Possibly some temperature control before guest arrive . But otherwise a great cabin ,would stay there again when in the area . "

"Codax retreat was a fantastic home for our family of 14 people (ages 2-60). We did have to get creative with sleeping situations with kids as some of the sleeping areas are in the loft which is very open. We comfortably slept 8 adults in beds and 2 kids in the bunk beds. The other four kids slept on kid air mattresses (not provided). The 2.5 bathrooms were great to have. The open space was great and the garage - the kids LOVED. There were so many games/activities for all ages. We had plenty to...

"We picked this place for its location near a family reunion. It was comfortable and clean and well supplied. We appreciated the complimentary coffee and snacks and the walk-in shower. We will try to stay here again next year. "

My initial concern that the day before check-in I was informed that a friend of theirs was going to be staying in their space downstairs. Nothing was on the listing about two spaces.
