This house was perfect for attending a big event at Eden Park! It took about 10 minutes to get there in a pre-booked Uber. After the event, thousands of people caused massive queues for public transport, so we hopped on Lime e-scooters—it took around 21 minutes to get back to the house, and it was fun!The beds were very comfortable, and the house was surprisingly quiet despite some traffic on Richardson Road. Having three showers and toilets was a game-changer for our one-week stay, making it quick and easy for the whole family to get ready. There was plenty of parking—you could fit two vehicles and easily turn around in the space. It wasn't overly fancy, so you could truly relax and enjoy it. Overall, a solid, functional home in a great location for exploring Auckland spots.The host communicated only via Bookabach app messaging, which worked out hassle-free, despite the fact that I would've preferred phone calls (possibly a language barrier?)—but texting worked fine!.

self check-in was great, plenty of parking space in front of house, Kitchen had a few amenities we used for our little gathering, house was clean! However, a few power plugs didn’t work around the house so we couldn’t use the tv or charge phones in certain rooms. Both bins were full and unable to use during our stay but overall beautiful house - definitely family friendly!

Great location and potential to be a great property to stay at. However it currently lacks kitchen and other content required for a comfortable stay. For example, there is currently no coffee plunger, dishwasher, tea towels, spare rubbish bags, clingfilm, cheese graters, vege peelers, potato mashers etc. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms great but lacked spare blankets. Heating needs to be upgraded since the main heating is a gas burner. The previous occupants must have not turned the tap off because we came in and the place stunk of gas. Windows and doors had to be left open for a good half hour. In terms of other suggestions, the lounge area lacked full curtains. The place could also benefit from a dehumidifier. Unfortunately the phone number given for the owner did not work so couldn’t report these issues at the time. Hopefully these comments will help.

Beautiful House

Had some friends over for my 22nd birthday and it was a great night. The house was beautiful, nicely furnished and bigger than I expected. The only thing was the house was quite cold but I would just say make sure you get there earlier to turn on the heating before dark. Other than that it was perfect!

Great stay!

My friends and I had a great gathering for my birthday, the host was very friendly and helpful in time for prompt responses and helpful tips. The property was just gorgeous inside and the place was kept nice and tidy. It was a smooth process and I will definitely keep in mind for future bookings!
