"Great location, much quieter than midtown yet easy access to the subway network so could get everywhere quickly. Rooms were great - we had a 4-bedroom unit which was perfect for a couple and 3 teenagers. Lots of eateries and bars nearby. Next to piers for ferries to Staten Island and uptown along the East River. "The apartment is very clean and nice. I booked this hotel because of the apartment style (kitchen specifically) worked for my elder parents. The front desk staff are very responsive and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay and had no complaints whatsoever. "

"We enjoyed our stay at EVH. It was close to our son’s apartment as well as the subway and great restaurants. The area was totally safe and the staff we did see were very friendly. It was nice having a kitchenette. A suggestion would be to provide maybe some paper towels for the kitchen area or more than one kitchen towel. "

The email with the relevant codes and information on which unit we were staying in did not arrive on time, which was a problem and meant that we had to call to get the relevant information. The only other issue is that it can be noisy on the lower floors with people walking in and out through doors on the ground floor that slam shut constantly and are very noisy. "I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in the Upper East Side. The location was incredibly central, just a short walk to the park and nearby attractions. The bed was super comfortable, making for a restful night’s sleep. Overall, a fantastic experience."
